As many times as they have been declared dead over the years, I don't blame them for being a little arrogant.

Whats really ironic is the fact that they would be dead if it wasnt for M$ and right now they seem to be going to head to head against them... vista vs. OSX

ok i have decided... I am gunna buy the lower end MacBook and put an extra 512Mb ram in it. Hope im making the right descision. Ive started my MacBook fund and already have $700 in it! weeee! Now im gunna sell my dell laptop and some other stuff and maybe, just maybeeee i wont take too much of a hit on my cc next month!! :)

lucky you.....i had an x86 ibook fund but looks like thats not happening

not really, from what i can see they're not trying to compete with MS, it's the same old stuff only a different CPU inside

Apple feels like they are already on the same level as Vista. They feel like they will take it the next step with Leopard and go beyond it, before Vista even ships.

Last year i was like "WHOA" at all the new stuff, but this year, I'm barely amused, mainly because the MacBook Pro is extremely overpriced, and I don't have enough for even a low end iMac :( It's gonna take me forever to save, i was hoping for something cheap like a mac mini, o well...not even a preview of leopard, disappointing...

Find me a PC that is the same size, with the same options for less money. I can't find one. THere is an Acer and a Gateway that is close, but both are thicker and heavier and have less software with it.

iWork and iLife look promising...even though I'm a little wary of the marketing pitch where you HAVE to buy (<<tell me if I'm wrong)) .mac in order to use iWeb. I'm really excited about iDVD's full support of third-party burners, although I thought it was up to the third-parties to decide to make drivers for their drives or not...

PB users must be somewhat happy but for 12" PB users maybe a little disappointed.

I'm somewhat disappointed because no iBooks and no Mac Mini updates...for now. Weird how they haven't updated the product pages for those two (and other products) to include iLife/iWork 06...

Does anyone know the status of universal binaries for like Office for Mac, Pro Apps, etc?

(one more thing: iPod nano/video FM tuner = sweet).

Are we sure about that? Surely there is a way to set iWeb to upload to your site if you already have your own hosting, even without all of the functionality.

Ideal for Lightroom workflows, it offers rich editing tools—exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites/blacks, tone curves, HSL mixer, dehaze, vignetting, film grain, sharpening, clarity and noise reduction—processed in real-time on the GPU. Features include intuitive masking (brush, linear, radial, AI-powered subject and foreground detection), generative edit layers (via ComfyUI), 32‑bit precision, and full RAW format support through rawler. RapidRAW also provides library management (folder navigation, ratings, metadata, EXIF viewer), batch operations, export presets (JPEG/PNG/TIFF), sidecar editing (.rrdata), undo/redo history, customizable UI themes, smooth animations, resizable panels, and preset copy/paste. A modern high-performance Lightroom alternative with polished UX and creative tools, RapidRAW brings powerful photo editing to photographers seeking speed, responsive GPU feedback, and streamlined workflows. RapidRAW v1.5.8 release notes: This release introduces several new editing tools and workflow refinements designed to improve both photo editing and library management. It expands creative flexibility with the addition of a preset intensity slider and a global hue adjustment, while also introducing convenient navigation features such as quick bottom bar filters and folder sorting. • My comment was intended to be humorous. I believe scientists already knew it since they comprehend relatively. Maybe I'm assuming that.
    • Surprise Execs are dumb. I hope the rehired engineers said were not coming back until we get 2x our salary.
