when do you guys think apple'll break 2.0GHz. I was interested in selling my current powerbook, just wondering if the 2.0 would sneak up on me anytime soon

personally i dont know why they didnt because the duo cpu is available over 2ghz....im guessing they left it for the next revision

because the price would have been ridiculously high.

If you positiviely absolutely need a new computer, buy now.

If you can afford to wait a month or so, do that. There are going to be bugs with the Intel Macs and you will want them to get ironed out first. Plus all of the software needs to be updated to universal binaries, which could take a few months.

Wheuuuf. I JUST returned my iMac G5 20" a few mins ago I got for Christmas. I'll buy an Intel iMac once they come out locally.

alright, thanks. I think i'll sell my current powerbook to possibly get more out of it. Then i'll just wait until all the universal binaries are out / bugs fixed. Thanks for the advice.

I keep getting an error whenever I access the Intel Ad (using a PC, broswers: Firefox, IE, and Opera). Is anyone else having this trouble? It has to do something with Quicktime (or so it says in Firefox).
