"Big" Ben stepped up big time when it counted.

9/21 123 yrds 0 TDs and 2 INTs. Not to mention that his QB rating was in the 20s or something like that.

Yes, he's the youngest QB to ever win a Super Bowl, but no thanks to him. Except for the questionable rushing TD (I think he got in. It was definitely too close to overturn), he played like a high school QB. It was the worst QB Super Bowl performance ever in many categories.

It was a boring Super Bowl. Neither team should have been there and neither will be there next year. It's pretty sad when the best pass of the night is by a wide receiver.

Though I agree Roethlisberger didn't play well overall you still saw some flashes of brilliance for someone in his second year. Like the presence of mind to somehow know EXACTLY where the line of scrimmage was and complete that big pass to Hines Ward at the one. And he had some nice scrambles/rushes as well.

Im hoping Jerome Bettis doesn't retire.

He has no business coming back. He's a backup RB and if he would return, he will end up being strictly a goal line RB making him a possible third string RB in the Steelers system.

Either way, everyone wanted him to go out a winner including the refs, so everyone got their wish.

P.S. He is officially retired if you didn't know.

Too late. He retired on Sunday.

He had a terrible game, but stopping short of the LOS was impressive. But that throw was terrible. Should've been picked off. It was a duck. He made very few plays of consequence, and by all rights, he should have cost them the game.

Every QB knows where the line of scrimmage is on every play. Seriously, how often do you see a starting QB throw after he has already ran past the line of scrimmage? It only happens on rare occasions. Ben didn't make an amazing play. And then he threw up a horrible hope pass and Hines Ward bailed him out. That pass should have been picked, but Seatle's "awesome" defense just watched Hines Ward catch it.

    • No Steam release. It's gonna fail on PC. Even an Epic Online engineer said that people go there for the free stuff and then immediately go back to Steam.
    • Nice. Admittedly, his other games never interested me, but this seems pretty cool.
    • It's time to say goodbye to Edge and switch back to Firefox. There's no way to disable the ugly rounded corners that appear everywhere. Not even on the page frame. No one uses screens with rounded corners, you idiots.
    • Being on Github makes it more trustable since I can see the code at any point.
    • Gen Atlas is the next game from Shadow of the Colossus creator, this time with giant robots by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The mind behind widely well-received games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, showed up at Summer Game Fest today, and that was to reveal his latest project. Being developed by genDESIGN, Gen Atlas is incoming with what looks to be plenty of mech and robot action. Watch the reveal trailer, which makes not much sense, above. The game will have players waking up on an abandoned planet where deserted facilities and grand designs from the original creators remain. Soon, they will stumble upon a colossal robot, from which players gain access to the power to change the world. "Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more," adds the studio. The gameplay snippets seen in the trailer show the player character climbing giant robots (as expected from the creator), while also controlling these titans somehow as well. This is a fully single-player open-world adventure. “The team and I are grateful to all the fans who’ve been eager to learn more about our game,” says Fumito Ueda, CEO and creative director of genDESIGN. “Their passion and enthusiasm has always motivated and inspired us. We hope to share an experience that inspires moments of quiet wonder and discovery.” Before gaining the name Gen Atlas, Ueda first announced this project back in 2024 with the codename Project Robot. Interestingly, this will be a project being funded and published by Epic Games, which should mean that a Steam release is out of the question. Gen Atlas will be releasing on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced just yet.
