Real Nintendo DS Lite Shots!

Recommended Posts

It's really not much different is it? Same exact design just a bit smaller. It certainly isn't like the GBASP was compared to the GBA. Oh well if the screen's better (or just has a better backlight)that's all that really matters.

Now a PSP redesign with two analog snubs and possibly better life would rock ;).

Shape wise, there was little wrong with the original DS design, it was just a bit clunky. I had issues with the shape of the D-Pad during Mario Kart and found it uncomfortably heavy. that's about all the problems I had with it.

The new one is smaller (much thinner!), lighter, and has a redesigned D-Pad... So that makes it pretty much perfect! :D

It does? Where?

Just to clarify, I misread the original article, and wrote something about it which this post refers to. I changed my post, and now this reply looks a bit random :)

Apologies!

I believe that the DS Lite will feature slightly brighter backlights and also allow per-screen brightness control.

Man, I hope they release it in black. That colour looks crappy.

Mind you these are prototype shots, not the finished full-white, glossy product.

And white isn't a colour btw ;) jk

Black would be nice and no doubt Nintendo will release a tonne of other colour versions like they have with the DS already.

Well the prototype colour isn't white, it's more of an off-white, beige colour. :pinch:

Anyway, not being racist, but I still prefer a black DS over a white one.

Looks like DS Lite will use a different power adapter than the original DS and there's a microphone connector at the bottom. :o
