Thanks for the comments!

way2quick: Anything you find that resembles the original Luna theme hasn't been skinned yet, I released the beta early so I could get feedback on application compatibility, and find other bugs. Thanks anyway (Y)

trasher: Disabled buttons will be updated, and the orange widget hover is done on purpose.

mole: You're limited with the flash button, as you cannot change the text colour. I've found the flash to work well, its dark and its easily noticed, and looks nothing like the active band. Will be staying for now.

alright then. thanks for the reply b0se, i'm sure ill get used to it in time lol, i just do so much at once sometimes its so hard to tell sometimes cause the default xp (which ive always used lol) goes bright orange so i know someones talking lol.

It's nice and I'm going to give it a try, but the concept looked better IMO. It was much simpler (the Start button was just text, for example) and the min/max/close buttons were neater. I think the black close button in the concept goes better with the theme because it matches the black yes/ok button and the scroll bar. Mousing over the scrollbar turns it orange, which obviously doesn't match this blue theme. Is that done on purpose or will it eventually match the theme color, which in this case would be blue? I think it would work much better if the scrollbar mouseover did match the theme color. As of right now this theme reminds me too much of b0se DMX because of the colors, a theme which I used for a long time, with parts, such as the start menu, task shape, and min/max/close buttons, from a couple other themes. Those are my thoughts on the theme from comparing screenshots of concept and beta one and for using it for a couple of minutes.

Yeah I do think its coming along nicely b0se (Y)

But I do agree with imtoomuch. It would be great if it was as simple as the mockup, or at least resembled parts of it more.

It is only a beta though, think it will end up being great no matter what :)

Just registered to ask you to please be my dad.

The only vs to take me away from XPMC :p

gj man keep it up :)

edit: i know its prolly a pipedream, prolly not many ppl who use their bar on top, but any chance on getting the tabs/grey line switched for us :p

What's this XPMC theme??

Would love to see what it looks like!

Awesome work, ross. I like the whole concept alot.

Here's my 2 cents of constructive criticism though, just my thoughts:

1) i dont like the gray bar at the bottom of the task bar. Feels.. weird.

2) the resize grips should match the color of the theme. orange for orange, blue for blue. Just my sense of aesthetics.

Thats it pretty much. Other than that, Im impressed with your skill, as usual. I still remember the first themes you released on devART xD

Id hope for more colors when you're done shaping the theme to match your idea :]

1. You'll get used to it, just give it a little time. It'sprobably >the first theme you've used with a bar like that so it will obviously feel odd. I love it's and hence it's staying indefinately - its part of the taskbar design.

2. I don't like to saturate a theme in the same colour. 99.9% of every theme uses the same colour everywhere, and over the years that really (really) bored me. I like to add a bit of colour variety (while keeping it consistent) to keep things fresh.

My old themes, blimey. Come a long way since then! Remember b0sev1? *chortles*

I cant wait till it is released in black. So far my black mod is looking nice and I know for a fact that yours will turn out better. Since he said I could change the colors around this my progress on a black version. (dont worry bose it wont be released just like you said.)

    • Still 3x what it should cost. So, it seems the trick is to increase price by 6x so that a reduction in price back to 4x looks like a steal. "You savvy shoppers win again!" I'm glad I'm not in a desperate spot to actually even need this overpriced crap. Hopefully, it comes back down by the time for when (or if) I ever do.
    • Although AI is great and has it's use cases they likely have massively overhyped it and it has not delivered as per their expectations. I fully expect them to start saying the same things again when it does get to a certain level of intelligence!
