Kind of weird they would put it on their blog and say it's available for download at ideas.live.com and then it's not :D

They didn say it was available.

They said that when it is released all testers can download it....

Will it be released today (uk time)? Or will i have to wait while tommorrow?

it cant be as my mate in the UK has it and he only lives 10 mins away from me!!! :whistle:

And in what country does he supposedly lives according to his passport-profile?

It is only available in certain countries, I don't really which ones exactly.

On the Messenger blog site it says that all current beta testers can download this version (.566).

I am a beta tester and I went to ideas.live.com to download the latest version and the version that comes down is still old (.356).

Where the heck do you get this version (.566)?

If you're a beta tester why would you go to ideas.live.com and not to the connect website?

Do you mean that you are a friend of a beta tester with an invite account maybe?

I was invited by somebody to the WLM beta - does anyone have news on when it will be available to invited beta testers?

oh for crying out loud!

This will be released to beta testers and invitee's at the same time, according to the Messenger Blog.

An updated version of Windows Live Messenger will be released to all current WLM beta users. If you're not a beta user but want to be, sign up on our short wait list at http://ideas.live.com.

I rather have them create a new GUI for once instead of the same one for the past few versions :/. Personally I think WLM has got enough features allready (well big ones). Some of the existing ones could be improved.

It has too many features IMO. Nudges are annoying. Winks are eve worse. Sharing Folders, VOIP, video, basic text chats, logging of chats, and contact management are all that's needed. I wish they offer two version of WLM. One with everything and one without.

you meen a sorta WLMlite or something like that. I do agree that Nudges and winks are annoying. i would definately chose a Lighter version without nudges and winks etr. mabee one of the testers should sugest this 2 microsoft.

www.mess.be posted the changes.. but some of the things they said changed... was in build 0562

Don't forget that 0562 wasn't released to everyone, so not many people will have known about it, especially the standard invitees.

The second wave of June was just announced, unveiling another Call of Duty addition, the latest soccer game from EA, an indie road trip hit from last year, and more. While Microsoft said it won't put Call of Duty titles on Game Pass on the day of launch anymore, older titles keep landing, with the latest one being 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard. Here are all the games that were announced today for Xbox Game Pass, their platforms, and arrival dates: Junkster (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – June 16 Call of Duty: Vanguard (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 17 EA Sports FC 26 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 18 Abyssus (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – June 25 RV There Yet?
