think about it. PS2 came out like 5 yrs ago and still selling like hotcakes. More than Xbox360 and PS3.

Not really. Look at the earlier posts in this thread. This time last year (before the Wii was out), the PS2 was selling around ~20k a week.

The PS2 is cheaper than the Wii and the others, it's got a massive library of some top name games, and a few still coming out even though the PS3 is here. People don't always rush out and buy a system in the first year or even first 3. Lots of people get it late, or near the end of it's life when it's the cheapest, and they can snag all the good games for way cheap also. Plus you have those who's systems break and they replace them.

When it comes to the 360 in japan, it just shows that if you have the right game, you'll get sales. Trusty bell being a new game and not well known/marketed held it back imo. Though the game itself looks, and I'm told, is very good and worth a try.

I really hope MS starts to back these games more and put more marketing money into it.
