Sigh, just got this email from Divineo in regards to the Supercard Lite I ordered...

Dear Customer,

We are sorry the product is still with the "Pre Order" status.

Your order will be process as soon as we get them in stock

Because of Customs and Shipping Delay we are not sure when they will get IN.

Thank you for choosing Divineo.

Regards,

Assistant Manager

None of the Supercards have the hardware required to make a GBA game run correctly, namely having enough RAM. That's why the M3 Pro line is cheaper, it also forgoes GBA support.

Bah, going to have to get a cart just for the GBA now (Normally, i wouldn't care about the GBA support, but i have one with the Z80 processor in it, so it can play GB and GBC backups)

But thanks though, your telling me exactly what i want to know (Y)

Very good thread you have going here Ji@nBing! I think I'm finaly going to take the plunge back into the hand held market for the first time since the original GB and get me a DS Lite.

 Me too. Damn them!! And they have got good user reviews somehow. I knew it was a mistake to get it from somewhere else other than good 'ol trustworthy kicktrading. Oh well, I'm thinking of getting an M3 Lite as well. Looks like I might end up recieving them both at the same time :p
Has anyone bought from Gamersection.ca before? Are they reliable?
I've heard good and bad things about them. Most of the complaints involve their high prices. What are you looking at getting?

Heh, I'm thinking it's even worse for me.

I preordered with Divineo and haven't gotten that warning email at all.

I didn't get a warning email, this was a reply to one I sent them. It's because they're not an "official" Supercard dealer, I think. I should do more research next time.

I was thinking of the Supercard Lite package (excluding MicroSD), last checked they have 29 in stock as of this post. Is $78.50US a good/reasonable price?

haha i still havn't ordered the Supercard Lite, I need some reviews first.

JianBing, if u are buying M3 Lite as well, u probably will sell ur Supercard Lite, and u can get rid of it easily by selling it to me :p

And $78.5 sounds good to me rayjin.

BTW, new Firmware for Supercard is out! Starfox works great on it!

Ya... I like some review too... there are just too many choices out there. I don't know what's the best for me. I was first looking at the G6 Lite, then now I probably prefer SC Lite because of the expandability of size. I would like to know the compatibility of SC Lite though for Homebrew apps, GBA, and NDS. THis thing might just well replace my PDA

Can someone post a summary on where we are at in regards to flash GBA cards that fit flush in the DS Lite? Like, when is the G6 Lite in English going to be out... is the supercard lite available?

So far, we have the G6Lite and the Supercard Lite that sit flush. The SCL is available, if you can find a place that isn't out of stock, and I do believe the English G6L is out too. There is also the EZFlash IV Lite (what I use), it sticks out less than a millimetre. However, homebrew compatibility isn't great, but GBA and DS compatibility is top notch.

Also, Winsunx are listing the M3 Lite, but they don't have a price or release date, so it's probably speculation.

Congratz!

What does ScummVM do exactly?

ScummVM is a software that runs classic LucasArts adventure games that are based on the SCUMM Engine.

a few of those include "Secret of Monkey Island", "Manic Mansion", "Day of the Tentacle", "Sam & Max: Hit the Road", "Full Throttle" (though this doesn't run on the DS) and lots more. if you wanna take a look:

PC: http://scummvm.org/

DS: http://scummvm.drunkencoders.com/

games run pretty well on the DS, too :D now I can get my Monkey Island fix on the go :p

Star Fox Command is pretty addictive, too

Oh...one more thing...I am about to place my order tonight. I am not as concerned with homebrew as I am DS ROM support (for my backups)...which is the best all around?--->the Supercard Lite or the EZ Flash IV?

From what I can tell, they're both very similar. I use the EZF4, and nearly all roms run, except for Ultimate Spiderman and a couple others. However, word is that the Supercard Lite gets better read speeds, so there aren't any pauses during high-load times in some games, like Animal Crossing. EZF4 has much much better GBA support though, so if want to play a fair number of GBA games, go with that. Otherwise, I think the SCL would be better, plus it looks nicer :)

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
