Its just a skin I think... I downloaded a skin which looked like this... the zip file I downloaded had 2 files in it and I replaced those files with the original WLM8 files... that was it... :)

I don't know if those on the screenshots are skin or a real new build.. :p

lol, no it is indeed real, and not too bad, i like the new icons, but havent been able to ehar the new sounds as most of my contacts have disapeard off now and im stuck with people i dont want to really talk to

wow, finding that wasn't hard. lol -- easy find =)

Yeah took me less than 1 minute to find it. Im actual happy with this build, just trying to get use to the New sounds :)

can you guys f*ckn' give us the f*ckn' link???!!!
Calm down buddy...

If you are a true Tester you "should" know that new builds don't get out for all testers in the same time...

Just relax and sit down... it's only WLM...

just got it working 100% but along side the player thing that comes with it, this also installs summut else that is doest tell you about

its in your add& remove proggies

and its names Windows Driver - MSN (usbccgp) USB (02/15/2002 1.2.0.103)

what the hell is this!!

Love this build to bits, seems microsoft listened to us about all the features we wanted, what we wanted we got, well so far all the things i have requested for have been done, there are more i requested but heck this is enough! I also love the sounds, great addition microsoft, simply great (Y)

I've asked since day one for an option to turn off that damn bumper spacing/auto snap to window "feature" or whatever you want to call it where you end up with that ackward spacing at the top of both the contact list and the messenging window. I hate that! If I drag the messenging window up flush with the top of the screen I probably mean that I want it to be there, but no!! the damn thing snaps back down about 30 pixels.

If you can't tell that bugs the crap out of me...and do you think they could just give me an option in there to enable/disable this "feature" of coarse not.

That is one thing I have requested over and over only to be ignored. To be honest I am getting really annoyed with the so called beta testing process where they supposedly listen to your feedback. I would bet money that I am not the only one that finds this to be annoying.

    • They themselves used AI slop to convert its C++ codebase to Rust. But I do agree with their concerns.
    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
