False positives. AutoPatcher does not come bundled with viruses.

If you are worried about the integrity of your download, please compare its MD5 hash sum to the ones in the first post.

nice, thanks. It's good to have a dedicated box serving the torrents rather than relying on people's regular broadband to seed, at least initially.

Yes, that's right. It's much easier to keep the file alive. Many users just download the file and close their client. So they only share their bandwidth while downloading.

There are many reasons why the server has been installed. The traffic of the german version has reached allmost 800GB till 1TB/month so it was necessarily to install a new mirror.

In addition it's easyer to upload the package to a new mirror.

If you wish i could create a ap team member ftp account. So it's easyer to download the package the first time before sharing it over p2p. Because the gabbix mirror is realy overloaded when a new version has been released.

Just what M2Ys4U said, flase positives. I've scanned the april version with Avast Home 4.6... no viruses has been founded.

Yah, that's correct, but Gabbix is doing a great job anyway, think about it, it's the _main_ mirror

I think I'll upgrade the VooDoo server with 2x30mb/s connections this summer, I also have to get the money :(

Godspeed,

Andrei

Oh please don't missunderstand me, that shouldn't be an attack against gabbix really GREAT work!

But when a new version has been released it is public from the beginning! That increase the server load and decrease the download speed. The non-public ftp account would only be for ap members and other bt web seeders. So it's faster for they to get the pack.

Once again, thats only a suggestion.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I have been working with the AutoPatcher moderators to keep the server up to date with the latest files. Also, we've been working on making the download mirror website secure so that our server doesn't get overloaded, as there has been lots of people who tried to do so by downloading the same file over and over again. Thank god there's a whole TEAM behind the scenes :)

In a near future, I plan to upgrade the server RAM so it doesn't get overloaded that easily. I plan to have 3GB RAM in total, let's see how things go.

No!

The november version is not updatable!

The oldest one is the december 2005 release. Remove your old copy of autopatcher and download/install the april version.

In the future you can update your ap version with the monthly update pack.

I found that the power toy TWEAKUI didn't install when it was selected, a minor bug but i wondered if any other modules were also going AWOL, did anyone notice anything else?

Otherwise great job!

    • Zen Browser 1.20.2b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.20.2b changelog: Security Mozilla Security Advisory 2026-54 New Features Updated to Firefox 151.0.3 Boosts now support a dark mode UI based on your system dark mode setting. • "This transition will take several years so we shouldn't bother doing it at all" is a naive take. This is completely normal for all specifications that cross-cut software, hardware and multiple industries. Look at the PCI specification for another example, consumers barely have PCI-E 5 yet PCI-SIG is working on PCI-E 8. AV2 will take multiple years to get adoption and even then, even a decade from now people will still have older hardware that doesn't support it. That's fine, because the savings still add up as newer devices add the hardware to deal with it. The goal is never to get 100% on the new spec overnight, but to gradually adopt it.
