Help needed with WMP11

Quick question... anyone know why it won't search my subfolders? I have my entire music library in seperate folders according to artist and album... I would REALLY hope I don't have to go album by album and add it to the monitoring folders list. But for some reason, it won't find the files buried in the subfolders.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you go to urge.com you can download the software. I dont think they've limited it to a region except when you want to buy music.

U can play mp4 or m4a files in it, as long as U have the codec, in my case "Nero digital Audio decoder" is decoding the m4a files

It is only aviable if you are in the US. if your are not (like me in france) it simply disapear from your "online stores".

I've decided to try to make the switch from iTunes to WMP11 Beta.

And I have a couple of question regarding WMP11 [or WMP in general]:

1) Is there a functionality similiar to itunes consolidate library [a feature that automativly moves every audio file you play to a specified folder] in WMP11?

2) Is there a way to import playlist saved as XML or TXT files to WMP11?

I have found out from another forum for my particular dap (Samsung YP-Z5) that wmp11 does NOT yet have picture support for devices, like wmp10 does. This means no more album art for my tracks on my dap!!! Is there a feedback website for wmp11? I need to complain.

Hi guys, I'm having problems with installing WMP11 Beta. Everytime the installation reaches 83% and it says Updating Registry, the setup will suddenly end and say setup not complete. I search through wmsetup.log and attached the log for the setup. Can anyone provide some pointers to help solve this issue? Thanks in advance. :cry:

Have you tried uninstall your current version of Windows Media Player first? It could help. Have you disabled any of your services that involve the user mode framework etc?

i've tried uninstalling WMP10, but it still doesn't work. Sometimes the installation will just stop at 16% where it says Currently Installing... Windows Media Format Runtime. The installation bar will just keep moving and moving till no end. :no:
