it was an amazing game, not the best in the WC(to me the best is the Mex vs Arg and 2nd Ger vs Arg) but a good game none the less

Italy played as never seen before and they were clearely not wanting to go to PK's, to many bad memories for them hehe

What a game it was? Two beautiful last-gasp goals from the Italians. Was cheering for the Germans, but the Italians really deserved the win. The second goal was great, fantastic teamwork by the Azzuri.

second goal happened when germans understood that tehre is no point defending. So it was really a lame goal. First however was great..and painfull :p

Buffon made only one or two saves in that game. Germany is good but they just dont kick the ball into the right place.

i liked how many italian corners were cought by Lehman...that guy is the best, but not perfect :(

Yeah... he is a good goalkeeper (very good with corners), but Buffon is just not human imho.

just watched the replay of the game, and must say, Italy strung some superb passes that Germany had nothing on. Congratulations and hopefully it will be a celebration for Portugal tonight! :p

Cannavaro is a great central defender, Buffon is a great goalkeeper.

from what i saw, italy went defensive in normal time to tire the germans, and went all-out attack in extra time. heck they hit the woodwork twice in the opening minute of extra time.

but cannavaro was awesome!

Italy vs. Germany was the best game by far. Why? Well for starters, there was almost no cards, the game didn't go in to penalties, there was no controversial goal (from a foul etc.) and both teams played very well. It was a completely different game, clean and exciting. An hour and a bit left until the next semi final! I want Portugal to win the cup, because they haven't won it before... but if France win I won't mind. France really came out of nowhere to get to this semi game, they were doing horrible their first couple of games :o

30 minutes until kick-off and I am already sweating. Man, the World Cup is definitely not for people with cardiac problems.
