I got this from a poster on Mess.be. Seems like it might be valid:

HURRAY! MSNP14 is coming! That's y the server is down , u might understand it better if i named it the "Yahoo integration Protocol!", the new release number has been made probably because they found a few bugs when communicating with yahoo users! So Enjoy People!

Membership lists are unavailable , all servers are down , probably an upgrade , and guess what i think it's finally here! We'll just have to wait until the servers have been put back online! But i'm pretty sure once all of this is over , u would be able to talk to yahoo users and add them to ur contact list.

i cant get in as usual microsoft means UNRELIABLE, messenger its always have downtimes comparing to any other IM providers, too bad microsoft services its not trustworthy but its need =/

@eilegz: If you don't like using it, go get yourself Trillian or some other client and quit complaining. There are alternatives.

i still get an error while downloading

this hardware could not be installed

right in the middle of copying files it says this hardware could not be installed

the hardware is something with neforce?
