Lost - Season Three

"Hey Doc! Call me 'Super-Sock'. We had a small party and under threats of death if any details are leaked, we were allowed to watch a "Work Print" of "Tale of Two Cities". First the overall impression. I know alot of people are saying that they will drag out the reveal of who the others are and what they are doing, I was stunned by how much was revealed. It wasn't 100% but you will know, roughly, what they do and how long they have been at the 'island'. I quote that because, honestly, I'm not so sure it is an island. There was a lot of unfinished effects work in the print we watched but it was clear they wanted to give it the look of an artificial land mass. But on a scale that no human could ever build. The episode is mind game after mind game. First you think their free, then their captive, then their free again. The "others" idea of testing is seeing how they will react in different situations. In the end of it, Fenry makes Jack an offer which will just blow your mind, but it looks like another test. It ends with Hurley finding Desmond naked in the Jungle. There are some very cool things shown, there is a connection between Sarah and Locke, there are definite signs in the flashback that there were forces at work pushing Jack, at least, towards his encounter with a predetermined destiny. Jack is definitely left in a very strange headspace. There was no music and the effects were only partially done but it seemed like there was a LOT of CGI. Oh, and at one point you definitely hear the monster in the others habitat. There is no doubt he is "one of them". '

Don't Read if you are looking forward to it tho it could be BS.

Another Video has been released this time its a scene from the episode and as its ABC who released it it isnt amazingly spoilerific but it does contain

Jack in this complex type thing waking up

Just came back from the world premiere - wow. About a little more than half of the spoiler above is wrong. Just a few major, crazy spoilers ahead - do not read if you can wait until Wednesday:

The opening scene was pretty nuts. You get to see the plane coming down again - just outside a book club meeting in a seemingly suburban house after a slight shake. Everyone comes out of their houses, including Ben (Henry Gale), and sees the plane breaking in half and coming down in flames. He then orders Ethan and Goodwin to go to the respective parts and do their thing. We also meet a new person - Juliette.

The whole rest of the episode is about the current situation of the three captives - no sign of any other person from the islands whatsoever. The flashback is about Jack and seeing how crazy he gets about his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Jack is held in a cell in a part of a complex that's underwater. Juliette keeps an eye on him, and they go through their little talks/confrontations. In a quick bid to escape, Jack rushes the door when Juliette comes to bring him food and he holds her captive. He tells her to open a certain door, but she refuses, saying that they'll all die. Ben (again, Henry) confirms this, but Jack wants out. He pushes Juliette away and attempts to open the door. Juliette tries to escape, but Ben closes the door behind him. Jack and Juliette then get flooded with water from behind the door. They manage to close the door and release the water, and Juliette knocks Jack out, making him captive again.

Sawyer is in a cage across from another captive. He's press a big red button with a knife and fork on it, and both times a "warning" is spoken over the loud speaker in his cage. When he attempts, a third time, the young guy in the cage across from him warns against it - Sawyer presses it anyway, and gets shot across the room with a huge shock. The kid later breaks out of his cage, after unsuccessfully trying to get Sawyer to tell him how far away the camp was. He then breaks Sawyer out, and they split up to try and get away. Sawyer gets taken down with a taser and is put back in the cage. Tom then brings the kid, bloodied and bruised, to Sawyer's cage and forces the kid to apologize to Sawyer for involving him in his breakout attempt. He's then taken away to God knows where. Later, Sawyer figures out the contraption in the cage that would provide him with food by using a rock to hit a contraption. A fish biscuit and some sort of kibble falls from a chute, and water shoots out from a dirty pipe on the ground. Soon after he is joined by a familiar face...

After waking up, Kate is told by Tom to take a shower - after that, she is left a "wear this" note near the locker where she stored her clothes - she puts on the dress in the locker and is escorted to have breakfast with Henry. At the table, after being told to handcuff herself, she questions why Henry has made here wear a dress, has made a nice breakfast for her, etc. He says that he wanted to make her feel like a lady, give her something nice to hold on to, because the next two weeks are going to be very unpleasant. She later takes the place of the kid that was across from Sawyer's cell. Tom makes a comment about Sawyer finally figuring out the food system, and Sawyer confirms. Tom then says, "It only took the bears two hours." Sawyer: "How many of them were there?" Sawyer then throws the fish biscuit to Kate, and reveals a comforting smile because she's alright.

It ends with Jack finding out that Juliette somehow knows his whole life, and cries tears of Joy after finding out that Sarah was happy. He then starts to listen Juliette, leaning up against the wall as per her instructions in order to get food. I didn't see the connection between Sarah and Locke, but there was a point in the flashback that Jack interrupts his dad's AA meeting because he thinks the dad's seeing Sarah - I think the mediator may have been Locke's girlfriend, but I'm not sure - I'd have to see it again.

That's it! It was pretty crazy - crowded beach, and I was right near the speaker so it was super loud, but it was a good premier :D

I'm trying really hard not to look at the spoiler. I read the first sentence and was thankfully able to stop myself. I just have to hold off for a few more days...

BTW, is the premier 2 hours or just 1?

Pretty sure it will be 1 hour, shame.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
