Lost - Season Three

So what do people think who that person is on the monitor? Radzinsky? Kelvin? Marvin?

I reckon its Radzinsky in the arrow station.

could it possibly be Jack himself, she was shocked at what he said. We know now hes the only person who could perform such an operation.

They seem to know alot of the losties easy to get medical records etc.

Also Kelvin told Desmond that Radzinsky made "edits" on the Swan film and those edits were found by Mr Eko in the arrow station. So what you said as well Rappy, it must be him.

I don't know, it is possible that it's him, but I have my doubts. What was the brown spot then? Why did Radzinsky run away? I think it could be someone entirely different. To many unanswered questions for me to conclude it is Radzinsky. I'm not saying it isn't him, I'm just not fully convinced yet.

Yeah...the brown spot could be anything doesnt have to mean to its blood but I can see where your getting at...but it is someone who knows the Island because of the connections with the Arrow and glass eye and the fact he has a eye patch....donno it maybe someone new...it may even be Kelvin...after all being dead on Lost Island doesnt mean the end :shifty:

Maybe because the fact in the episode it seems they rip the wall out trying to tap into other feeds does the power turn the camera back on in the station Patch-Man is in and camera flashes and makes noise like Hydra...maybe thats why?...thinks help is on the way...

I'd just like to add this: the producers on the official lost podcast clearly state that when someone is dies on the lost island, they are dead. there's no smoke and mirrors, they just die. Their only appearances will be in flashbacks. So I doubt it's kelvin. Unless the much anticipated zombie season is near ;)

I dont think there is a second island because if you watch the 1st episode of season 3, when the others all come out of their houses at beginning, their island is shaking and they see a plane about to crash on their island and then Ben orders ethan and the other guys to go to certain parts of the island to get to the parts of the planes.

they had a defib machine, she said it was broke if i remember right.

Correct, that is what she said.

Makes you wonder. They obviously have communication with the outside world. But it doesn't seem like they are getting supplies (or at least have input on what supplies they are getting), as you would think working medical equipment would be near the top of the wish list, especially with no hospitals and real doctors (minus Jack) anywhere nearby.

Perhaps they have no control over the Dharma airdrops?

After watch the last night ep I was wondering what happend with this show... Maybe they had a plan that this might last 2 seasons max and seems like they see the success and try to make the show last until the rating goes to the hell.

What happend with this group of people that survive an aircrash (noone knows how but they did) and then they were trying to survive on the island that seems to be not like another deserted island in the middle of the ocean. Yea, with some mysteries, a guy living in a hole for 2 years, etc. All the stuff we already know.

Now this show become in nothing but death and (psychological) torture. What are those people? Nothing but an excuse to make the show last a lil more. And seems the only way to 'survive' is make the others some kind of... <insert your prefered word here>

When ends this ep I laught, becuase seems like everyones was in jail!. And now they are. Again.

I seriously hope after watch the Locke ep that this would back to the beginning, where, at least has some sence. Now seems like 'the others' needs more attention (and this is because the french woman (that was living in that island for 15 years!) name them as an excuse to make yet dilemma)

bah

The show is planned for 5 seasons. If the ratings are good, I wouldn't be surprised to see it stretched beyond 5. But yeah, the plan is for 5 as far as I know.

they live on the big island, the station they're currently located is on the little island..there'no problem with that

Hmmm, well, according the screenshot, the two islands are very much connected. But that doesn't rule out them being on a seperate island, just not one of any real importance, just another station that was perhaps originally intended for monitoring what was going on on the main island... now wheres that map of the stations..

what're the odds that when Desmod left, he came across that island?

My guess is that he got there, wandered around the desolate island for a little while, came across a few others, and got in to a gunfight with them. That's why he had a gun ready when the losties found him again, and why he shot at them. He thought the others had followed him and got aboard the boat.

Knowing that this had happened before, Ben wanted the boat at all costs, lest Sayid, Jin and that learned about the island from Desmond and went on a rescue mission. Also, having heard (can't remember where) that there is a successful rescue mission at some point, what're the odds that that is what happens?

Also Ben mentioned a sub in the last episode so they can get across in quick time...but the fact that Ben told Goodwin and Ethan to go to the beaches is interesting because he said Goodwin could make it in an hour...whats he...superman? :p

It seems there's some confusion as to the two islands.

As I understand it, the "main" island houses both crash sites AND the little town where the Others live(d). When the plane crashed, Goodwin and Ethan did not have to go from one island to the other in order to get to the crash sites.

The second island contains the facility where Jack, Kate and Sawyer are being held. Think about it. Why else would the Others have brought them to the dock at the end of last season? To transport them to this new island.

You guys thought that maybe they do in fact live on the same island as the Losties, but they run their prison camp/experiments from the other island?

So it is very likely that they could be a on a second island presently, but were living on the same island that the losties crashed on.

    • Major Xbox layoffs may claim South of Midnight developer Compulsion entirely by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft has been making major changes in its gaming wing Xbox for a few months now, including the appointment of a new CEO, a large number of leadership changes, and strategy shifts. However, the company is seemingly also looking at initiating a major layoffs wave at Xbox and perhaps even a studio closure. The new report lands from Kotaku, Xbox first-party developer Compulsion Games is being shuttered soon by Microsoft. For those unfamiliar with the studio, it's the team behind Contrast (2013), We Happy Few (2018), and South of Midnight (2025). Its latest game was quite well received, even winning a Peabody Award for its writing. It even received a 9/10 in Neowin's own review, highlighting its engaging storyline, gorgeous world, and curious characters. The studio joined Xbox Game Studios in 2018, just as Microsoft announced it is acquiring Playground Games, Undead Labs, and Ninja Theory. Despite recent listings for new staff roles, according to the new report, Compulsion Games is being closed entirely, with over 90 staff being let go. Kotaku also added that the studio's leadership is in negotiations with Microsoft about this decision, but no official details have been revealed yet. The report lands just as two senior managers of Xbox leave their posts at Microsoft Gaming. Head of Xbox Game Studios Craig Duncan and chief of staff Louise O'Connor originally began their journey in Rare and have been a part of Xbox for over two decades. Dunkan has been responsible for games like Kinect Sports and Sea of Thieves, while O'Connor was primarily working on Rare's Everwild project before its cancelation. If this report about the studio shutdown is accurate, this may just be the start of a major new layoffs wave at Xbox Game Studios. There are also rumors of Arkane Studios being heavily affected. As always, take all these reports with a grain of salt until something official materializes from Microsoft or the studios.
    • The flaw with this analysis is that this laptop has a cellphone CPU in it. In the Intel world, that would be an N150 and those are everywhere, even in low end laptops. You can get an N150 based NUC with 16GB RAM and 256GB-512GB SSD... NOT soldered in... for < $500 Canadian (around US$360). The problem is two fold: tech bloggers/writers on most tech site (like this one, ironically) overvalue Apple and apparently aren't in the same earnings class as most regular people. As a result, we get breathless articles about how everyone needs a folding phone when most people just cannot afford one... or really need one. And we get Apple used as the baseline metric regardless of whether that comparison makes any sense. If Dell or HP released a retail laptop with a cellphone motherboard, you'd be all over them for doing that - but Apple does it and it's genius. I see articles suggesting what Samsung - a company that basically started the foldable phone market and has built them for eight years - needs to do to compete with Apple's unreleased, unspecced and unseen folding phone. Sorry, no - if the Neo (really creative name there BTW - still, better than the Go, the other "creative" product name everyone's using) encourages PC makers to make cellphone laptops using lower end ARM processors, we all lose. It's a step backwards and a capitulation to the fact that semiconductor makers and computer OEMs (and tech bloggers) have totally lost the plot.
