Lost - Season Three

With this show, every little detail MAY BE important!

Her voice mail repeats the number. You even posted it yourself. If you get a different result from listening to the keypad sounds, which is more likely? That there's some weird alternate world where the number you dial isn't the number you reach, or Michael Fox simply pressed some buttons on the phone to make it look like he was dialing her number?

I don't know. I still have a strong feeling that the "real world" they returned to has been altered by their time on the island. Kate likes how hers turned out but Jack doesn't.

Yeah Desmond saved the world by stopping the magnetism thing getting to large at the Swan tho maybe he has caused something to go wrong...maybe it effects the inhabitants...

Hmmm, anyone else pick up on Jack saying to Kate at the end, "..Im sick of lying"

Lying about what where they were for 90 days or ? o.0

Maybe he lied " I Don't love you, Kate." when she ask him do he love her? And that was the 'mistake', I think

who is Aaron (that cried when Charlie died)?

The Baby ... Seem to be a Huge Force/Bond there

Maybe they were told not to say what they saw on the Island so they were given unlimited stuff form Oceanic Airlines...

... or lying about the fact that the lives they returned to were the ones they left (I'm not giving up on this yet!)

I have been thinking about Locke holding the gun on Jack. He says somethign to the effect of "You aren't supposed to do this, Jack". To me, it seemed like he was not saying, "You shouldn't make the call, Jack" but rather something like "Jack, what you are doing is not how I was told/shown this would happen, and I don't know what to do now". As if he had been told or shown the way the events would play out, yet somehow Jack was changing it.

Yeah it seemed like that...I just wonder where Locke will go to now and who will go with him?

Yeah Locke just wondered off behind the Radio Tower. Will he find the rest of the others?

I was wondering maybe he will go back and find Jacob...after all he has a connection with him now...he could tell him everything he needs to know...

My god, it's just a show. Some people are too obsessed and high-strung over such stupid little things.

555-**** is a known FAKE and COMMONLY USED number in movies and TV Shows. God!

Hurmoth, I find myself agreeing with your theory about Michael, makes the most sense from what we've heard so far.

In the flashforward, Christian is not dead. It's weird - whatever, the producers said we won't figure it out all year, so yeah...

I believe that was Ben, while tied to the tree. Makes even more sense, since Ben and Jacob are even closer than Locke & Jacob.

This is also a TV show KNOWN to have a LOT of clues! That is what makes this show SO GREAT, to me!

BTW, it's NOT 555-xxxx I am curious about, it's the # that Jack actually dialed that seem to NOT be 555-xxxx, the tones DON'T sound the Same!

I really think all this investigating will get nowhere unless one of the Lost writers reveals something in the summer...it's there to keep you enticed for next year.

Gotta agree with you there. Exactly want the producers wanted, to be talking and guessing what will happen next year.

A bit late but I just saw both episodes, I liked it alot!

Tho I must admit, the bearded Jack ... I knew it was a future flash"back" on the spot and I always guessed the freighter is not of Penny's

but wtf with Charlie? he could have sealed it from the outside! or... swim outside the blown port.... no sense what so ever.

Just hit me.... about Jack's dad - no proof he dead! and the casket was empty when Jack found it on the Island.... dman I was reading this thread and my head hurts, I'm just going to wait for season 4

His beard is another thing too. On the island his stubble has noticable grey hairs amongst it. Yet, he grows out a full on beard and no grey? Come on...

Could it be that his flash forward was actually a flashback? But when they get to the island things "reset" again and they re-do everything all over again? I hope not, that is way too Matrix for my liking...

His status is technically unknown, but if you all remember correctly Juliet told Jack in A Tale of Two Cities that Sarah is "happy". I would say that she's remarried, but I think it is a little to soon to assume Christian is the father.

WHAT?!

Where on earth did someone pull that from? How do you get Christian being Sarah's baby's daddy? Some people are really, really reaching now...

Yeah, no proof at all...

For anyone that has the season one DVD set, please go load the disc two with episode five and see if there are any additional shots of Christian Shephard on a slab, dead cold. Other than the one above, of course.

i still might be a flashback... kate and jack may have had a thing before going to the island..

all signs point to a flashback, except the ending.. that really boggles me, but could jack be talking about a vacation or something else?

    • Mozilla highlights Firefox Nova 2026 redesign and more upcoming features with new roadmap by Sayan Sen Last month Mozilla confirmed that Firefox was set to get a major redesign this year. Dubbed "Project Nova", it can already be tested and will roll out to all users later this year. The idea is to keep the browser competitive in a rapidly evolving internet landscape. As such the revamp focuses on improving privacy, usability, performance, accessibility, and customization. Key privacy features including the built-in VPN, private browsing mode, and Enhanced Tracking Protection, will be more visible and easier to manage, while users will have the option to disable AI features entirely through a dedicated kill switch. Additionally, the redesign promises faster page loading, the return of Compact mode, expanded personalization options, and stronger accessibility support. You can find the full details in the dedicated piece linked above. In a new blog post today the company once again reiterated on Nova and also emphasized other new and upcoming features like the settings revamp that is intended to make it easier for users to understand browser settings. In order to make it simpler for users to keep up with such features Mozilla today is launching Firefox roadmap. Hence enthusiasts and interested users will be able to check out what's cooking and also share feedback about the upcoming additions. Alongside the roadmap announcement, Mozilla also highlighted what's new in Firefox 152. One of the biggest additions is the arrival of Tab Groups on Android. The feature, which has already been helping desktop users organize large numbers of tabs, is now beginning to roll out on mobile. Users will be able to group related tabs together, assign names and colors to them, and return to them later. Mozilla says support for iOS will arrive later this year. Firefox 152 also introduces the aforementioned redesigned Settings experience. The company says the changes are meant to make controls easier to find and help users discover features they may not have previously known about. Existing preferences are not changing, though they are now better organized. Another notable addition is the new Blocked Tracker Widget, which provides a visual overview of Firefox's privacy protections by showing how many trackers have been blocked over time and the types of tracking activity the browser has stopped. Looking ahead, Mozilla revealed several upcoming roadmap features. They include customizable keyboard shortcuts, as well as enhanced PDF editing tools that will allow documents to be split, merged, and reorganized directly within Firefox. The company is also working on bringing Multi-Account Containers into the native Firefox experience thus removing the need for a separate extension. Meanwhile Firefox's built-in VPN is set to expand to mobile devices. Mozilla is also developing AI-powered features like Quick Answers, which can provide concise responses to voice queries, and Smart Window, its optional AI browsing experience that is now available without a waitlist. Finally, a new Power Saving Mode is in the works and will help reduce the impact of resource-heavy tabs on mobile devices in order to extend battery life. The video below summarizes the upcoming changes in an easy to understand format: You can find the announcement blog post here on Mozilla's official website.

    • A group made up of dozens of cybersecurity experts, including several well-known veterans of the industry, published an open letter to the U.S. government asking it to lift the export control order on Anthropic’s Fable and Mythos models. According to the open letter, “this action has taken the best models away from [cybersecurity] defenders” who now can’t use the models to find vulnerabilities and make their software and products more secure. “To pull the best capabilities away from defenders without a good reason when our adversaries are rapidly advancing is dangerous,” read the letter. On Friday, the U.S. government ordered Anthropic to limit the export of Fable and Mythos, citing national security concerns, without explaining the specific reasons behind the order, according to Anthropic. In response, the company suspended access to the models to all users worldwide.     https://techcrunch.com/2026/06/15/cybersecurity-vets-protest-dangerous-us-government-ban-on-anthropics-most-powerful-models/
