Damn i should i thought about dual monitors before i bought my computer desk, now that i dont have space for two.

Same. -- I was wanting to get the twins but my only option is to mount them on the wall. My desk is victorian for frigs sake! Not made for these fancy dual displays! :p

^^^ The question must be asked....what the feck :|

Hey, the ghetto-fixes worked over the course of a year.. the last break (where the strip of metal & two bolts were used) didn't happen until about a month or so before I got the new chair... so yeah, it lasted me like 5 years total.

You might be better with a big widescreen then? I've had two screens since i was about 13, but i'm now finding a big widescreen may be better, as my screens have different colour reproduction, different brightness, and you get the gap in the middle..

It is a Presario V2000. I have allready posted in this thread but here is the same notebook but with osx 10.4.8 natively booted up on it. =)

I have the V5000, intresting to see OS X on it... any point in running that?

Yes, so you don't have to purchase an Apple computer with inflated pricing for Apple Hardware. Apple pretty much has unilateral pricing. Apple dual core computers are nice but not worth the cost when you can build one yourself at a much lower cost.

Sweet twins crazihouse, I got the same phone as you. :D

W800 is great! :p (though not so good in my basement :( )

Nice, but I never understood why people put their 5.1 speakers in front of them like that instead of at each corner of the room !

I almost wouldn't be able to hear the speakers if they were so much further from me, especially the rear speakers. Remember, this isn't no Z-5500 1000 watt system, it's a pathetic (but still working!) set of Z-640s. I might upgrade..... as soon as I get my Toshiba 26" HDTV next month :D

Dont all chairs have steel support? i mean if they were plastic they would just fold over when trying to hold the weight.

Too true! Well i gave him the pics :) I got it form Staples UK though it was ?45 so if they sold it in USA you could probably pick it up for about $90.

ooo also im getting a new faceplate for my xbox 360:DD

I'm looking for a chair like that one, but what I've seen had plastic legs. The cylindrical bar is steel, however the 5 legs connected to the wheels are plastic.://

True, I waiting on one huge desk to be arrived soon, so then I might be able to fit more than a laptop on my desk.

    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
