Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Recommended Posts

I think its fairly safe for me to assume at this point (until next week) that Baltar is indeed a Cylon now. After all, the preview shows him waking up in the goo chamber! Did they drop hints or what?

that's already been confirmed as a dream/halucination

Another good ep this week. I checked out the bonus scene on scifi.com with Caprica and Roslyn talking. Almost sounds like Caprica is going to rat Baltar out. Also, it looks like Galactica will be going back to Fridays. That is really good news.

the best series out there. Any series could end tomorrow but this series dont.

The editing of this ep rocks. When Lee was talking with Dee at the bar and Baltar with Gaeta in the cell at the same time. Like Lee was talking with Baltar and Gaeta was listen to him. That part was great.

Ah, and sometimes this series scare me a lil... Sometimes scares me a lot.

When they were interrogating to Baltar somehow remembers me to Saddam or something the u.s. is doing right now in Iraq.

As I always say, this is the best series we can watch.

One guy here mentioned that Baltar is looking more and more like Jesus with the longer hair and beard. The episode was ok, it was too focused on relationships and the whole drama between Apollo and Starbuck. "If I leave Sam, will you leave D?" C'mon, what is this? High school?

^ Haha.

I noticed it the moment he said it. I paused it and replayed the part. I think he said mother****ing in the normal way instead of saying motherfracking. Must've been an accident but they kept it because that scene was so emotional. "Get him out of the nearest airlock!".

Get your ears checked guys. He clearly, clearly, clearly says fracking. Sci-Fi is not a paid-for channel like HBO and Showtime. They don't just air this stuff on the whim due to FCC regulations. I have the episode and it is clear that he has an R after an F and an "aah" not "uuh" sound following it, thus, he said "mother fracking".

Still convinced he said what you wanted him to say? Listen carefully.

Edit: I'm aware of other slips in the past, but in this case, Baltar did not say what you think he said.

I found the last episode to be boring.

I miss the space battles. I think the show has really good character development, but, I kind of want to get it back to the cylons attacking and Viper pilots saving the day.

agree. the whole episode seemed out of place. it didn't seem to fit in the thread of the human\cylon story. although we know someone is supposed to die this season and i thought for sure it was gonna be Dee.

the last episode didn't advance the story one bit.

Yes it did, it resolved the issues between Tigh and Agathon... It was actually very intersting, as it fleshed Helo's character even more.

very, very minor but i really don't think that things will ever be resolved with tigh. he's turning into a bitter old man and i don't think he'll ever accept sharon.

turning? I think he's already there, for a while now...

    • Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary in AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update but that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.
    • ALL versions or ALL SUPPORTED versions? Neowin does it again.
    • But the reality is it will work for people's needs, and they don't care about the technology that makes it. Clearly not everyone's needs, but that low end space where personal laptops were only used to type emails, watch content and browse websites, but they didn't want to do that on a small screen device. Heck, writing that out I can now see the connection and reason it'll do so well. Apple is about experience. If the experience is bad, they don't release it. Low end Windows laptop manufacturers up until this point have not taken that into consideration ever before, so slow laggy usage with brittle slimey plastic shells were common. I hope that the low end space at least creates better physical products that last a bit longer, and if Microsoft get their act together, they could also have a solid OS on such low end hardware that would actually make the experience work for what the hardware was intended for. The fact that the CPU is a "cellphone", sorry mobile phone processor is irrelevant. It's about the experience, and so far, that sounds quite solid.
    • Hello, Bonjour is Apple's implementation of a multicast-DNS service, which allows devices running Apple's software and/or hardware to find each other on your local network.  I believe the Windows version was last updated around 2010. If you do not need it, you can stop and disable the Bonjour service in the Services Control Manager (filename: SERVICES.MSC).  Once you have done that, the operating system will no longer attempt to load the service.
