He made a mistake, this the url, http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/238667.html

Also the only thing I disliked was the editing for a PG rating. Not so much the lack of violence but the missing scenes, like how the Joker got out of jail. That and how did the guy on the tv see the joker, I didn't see a webcam anywhere lol. I'll be seeing it again next weekend, make sure it beats out Step Brothers :)

yeah im wondering how the badly beaten up Joker managed to get out of the interrogation room too. Im hoping the DVD has massive outtakes.

Just saw it.... Good movie, but not the 9.7/10 that it has on IMDB. I'd go for 7/10.

1) It's way too long, the movie sometime drags.

2) Did Tom Cruise locked Katie so she could not perform as Rachel Dawes? Nothing against Maggie Gyllenhaal, but she's no Katie...

3) We see much more of Bruce Wayne than Batman in this movie.

4) The good Harvey Dent that "transform" into a killer Two-Face... That's pulling it.

5) What's the point of having Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow) in this movie for 30 secs in the beginning? It's a cameo but could have been more.

And this movie is all about Heath Ledger. The Joker is really mad/crazy but with substance. I don't know how it would have turnout if this role was played by someone else.

It's a good movie, but IMO not as good as the first one.

If you know anything about the actual series of Comic books then you know that Harvey Dent is Two-Face. That's really not a spoiler. Harvey Dent has been Two-Face since the 60s.

While I agree with you that it is ****ty to replace actors or actresses (even in a small role) at least the character is finished.

Question:

So Fox said that if the machine were still there he'd resign... but when he puts in his name the machine destroys itself, essentially. So does he resign?

No.

I asked this question earlier in this thread, but I don't think anyone paid any attention to it because it got off topic at that point, but, here it is again. It's a spoiler for those who haven't seen the movie yet:

When they introduced the Batpod, did anyone else notice a big similarity between that and when they used the Bat Missile in Batman Returns?

I found you saw less of Bruce Wayne in this and more of Batman, I would have preferred more as Bruce Wayne personally, at least when hes Bruce he can be funny.

Also the whole Harvey Dent turning evil was my favorite part of it, it was the best aspect of the movies story. How the good guy trying to save everyone got corrupted by the joker and went to seek revenge on those who killed his love. He didn't go killing people are robbing banks, he was trying to seek revenge on those who hurt him, much better than the crap with Tommy Lee Jones. Two Face wasn't as much of a bad guy as he was a good guy imo.

Yeah, to much batman, although one could say, that they covered "a whole lotta bruce" in batman begins... does that make any sense :p?

I saw it today, and what can I say ! I mean I was going into it with my expectations through the roof from the IMDb rating and critical acclaim and those who saw it raving about it, and in the end it exceeded my expectations !

Definitely a 10/10 with an Oscar nomination for Heath Ledger and Christopher Nolan for taking that Batman series in a whole different direction and vibe satisfying every type of cinema audience I think this time, Chris Nolan career just gets better and better every time.

Oh did I mention that I'm going tomorrow for a second viewing ? :D

Didn't know where to put this so I am posting it here:

Christian Bale gets arrested, released

Sources said that Bale was ac

*Sigh*

Advise to Bale: What's wrong with you man? You are ruining your damn reputation!

This Batman movie is a hell of a Masterpiece, everybody did great in it, you are a Great actor!

Why mess it up? Especially a character/hero like Batman, a great hero, you don't learn instead you be a Bad man?

Shame, Bale, Shame.

Jedi, put a cork in it. From what is being reported, he yelled and didn't lay a finger on his mom or sister. Have you never been angry enough at someone to have an outburst at them? I'm typically an easy going guy and have a pretty lax temperament, but even I have had my moments.

Just because a person plays a particular role doesn't equate to that person being that role.

Yeah bro, pass judgement after you hear both sides.

He only cursed at her from I hear. I agree, most people are pretty relaxed. His mom must have said something messed up things about his wife.

Glad to hear no one was harmed. Although, it would have been very Dark Knightish of him to beat down a woman like he did the dogs in the movie. :shiftyninja:

Look, he was ARRESTED!

Being Arrested is a BIG deal, it's embarassing and not the same as angry/outburst at someone but not get arrested, like you said.

People are arrested on charges often. Being charged doesn't mean he's guilty; being convicted usually does. There's a huge difference and you need to understand that.

umm have you looked at what qualifies as assault ?

The act required for an assault must be overt. Although words alone are insufficient, they might create an assault when coupled with some action that indicates the ability to carry out the threat. A mere threat to harm is not an assault; however, a threat combined with a raised fist might be sufficient if it causes a reasonable apprehension of harm in the victim.

it wasn't assault and battery. it was just assault and that can be a lot of things.

Saw it at IMAX yesterday.

All i can say is :o

Jedi, In America if a female accuses a male of anything its almost instant arrest.

He makes movies, I could give a crap less what he does in his personal life. Its not my business.

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
    • 256 times the quality of an audio cd? I think audio cd's sound good so even twice as good as that would be something.
    • It’s not about the NOx. It’s about the electrical field.
