Alrighty. Just saw TDK for the first time yesterday. Yes, it was a good movie, but my lord I was expecting the second coming or something from all the hype and responses here. Yes, Ledger was terrific as the Joker, and all of the cast was great (except the woman who played Rachael, barf). I wouldn't call it the best movie ever, or the best action/whatever genre you want to put in there ever. It was a good movie though, worth seeing multiple times :)

As for the next movie, there are plenty, plenty of bad guys they can bring in for the movie, but most of them people would never have heard of (except comic nerds like me). I would love to see Nolan's take on Poison Ivy for example. But The Riddler, The Penguin and Catwoman are obvious choices due to name.

One of the challenges I see for the next movie is how they will tie the next villain into the story while Batman is no longer a beacon of hope, but is now a hated and hunted man. Different stories in a single movie wouldn't do it justice, so I think whoever will write the next script has a tough task ahead.

I'm curious how Nolan will finish off the Joker's character. I expected the Joker to die or be captured within the first scene of the 3rd movie. If he folllows the same formula from Batman Begins, 2 villians, 1 dies, 1 lives. In TDK, one died, and the other lived. I doubt he would have been brought back for the remainder of the movie, even if Heath was alive. Anyone know where to get some cool Batman Posters, like prints, not downloads, we have Rappy for that.

In our local Woolworths might be different for you we have 2 posters for sale of the joker and batman the jokers says why so serious, its quite good I will be buying it soon.

^ aww is that the frosted glass one? I'd love the one of batman made out of cards.

No its him holding a card, I think the only place you are going to find the batman made out of cards is on allposters or somewhere at the back of Empire film magazine if you can get hold of that.

This image is amazing because his face looks so real (although you can see where it ends on his face if you view the full size). I read in some interview or something he wasn't wearing regular makeup it was like some sort of new mask and my god it looks like it's just makeup on him. Awesome.

I'm anxiously awaiting a Blu-Ray release. I'm really hoping there will be a ton of special features on it too, specifically "the making of..." special features and interviews. I really like watching that type of stuff.

    • It could EASILY be 70 for the base game BUT + lots of FOMO to make it up to 100-120, like a few days Early Access, online money, pre-order bonus cars, weapons, missions, clothing, avatars or profile stuff, etc... And still WAY TOO MANY people would buy those and make Rockstar insane money.

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
