Heath Ledger's laugh still gives me the chills. This is going to be one badass joker.

Yeah. I saw this "announcement" trailer last night. I think it's going to be awesome. I loved batman begins for it's harder edge. This movie is going to take that to the top. Joker's insanity is going to make this very gritty and hard.

Just saw this over at Gametrailers.com forum...

I found a number that you can call and it is some type of audio for the Dark Knight movie. The number is 1-800-395-9646 CALL NOW!

God knows if its true or not, heres the like to the post

US, August 11, 2007 - For those who've been following IGN Comics' coverage of Wizard World Chicago 2007, here's a special movie-related treat: The cast and crew of The Dark Knight ? the follow-up to 2005's Batman Begins ? made a special convention appearance to take questions from the fans and screen a special "sizzle reel" cut exclusively for the event. In attendance were the film's director Christopher Nolan, writers David Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, and cast Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gary Oldman (Lt. James Gordon) and Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent/Two-Face).

While coverage of the Q&A can be found on this page tomorrow, we thought we'd give you a quick peek at the footage that was shown. Of the sizzle reel, Nolan noted that the production is exactly 50 percent done with filming, so he patched together what shots he had to show the audience.

Much to the joy of those in attendance, the reel showed off a number of shots of Heath Ledger as The Joker. The Clown Prince of Crime was seen in a prison cell, dramatically speaking at the camera as if scheming some sort of diabolical plot. There were also several shots of Batman and The Joker fighting in what appeared to be an interrogation room ? in fact, the Dark Knight can be scene using "bad cop" interrogation techniques, throwing The Joker across a table. There is a scene of The Joker dancing with Rachel Dawes (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal), reminiscent of the way Jack Nicholson's Joker danced with Vicki Vale (played by Kim Basinger) in 1989's Batman. Finally, there are a number of shots showing a war-torn Gotham City ? a machine gun-toting Joker firing toward the camera.

While Eckhart has already gone on the record with word that Harvey Dent would be making the change into the dreaded Two-Face in this film, the footage served to confirm this. A shot of Dent from behind has someone coming up to the District Attorney saying, "I thought you were dead?" Dent's reply: "Half." Massive scarring can then be glimpse on the left side of his face. A dramatic shot of a quarter spinning on a table also served to "wow" the audience. In his non-scarred form, there is a shot of Dent first meeting Bruce Wayne. "Rachel's told me a lot about you," Dent says. To which Wayne replies, "I hope not."

Not to be outdone, there were several shots of Wayne and Batman. A number of quick bursts showed Wayne testing out new gear and working on equipment. A full shot of Batman running in his new suit was shown, as was a snippet of the Tumbler in action (no noticeable changes to the supped up Batmobile were evident) and Batman riding the Batpod ? a high-tech motorcycle that is said to launch out of the Tumbler.

Last but not least, there was a shot of Lt. Gordon where he appeared to be gearing up some off-camera force (Batman? other police officers?) for war. After the footage was shown, Oldman noted that he had the honor of shooting a number of scenes with the Joker and that Ledger's performance was going to "knock your socks off."

Tophrman claims to have gotten his hands on the shooting details for this week?s filming of Rory?s First Kiss. As most everyone on the planet knows, Rory?s First Kiss is the undercover production title for the Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight. Of course, we are unable to confirm the authenticity of this information with the production (for obvious reasons). So be warned, these could be planted or fake, but my sources say it looks legit. A major plot spoiler is revealed, and new characters we never heard of (Reese) are included. Check out the details after the jump. Don?t read if you don?t want to know.

Again, these scenes are probably not shot in order. Tophrman was only able to get his hands on slight descriptions of the scenes. So we don?t have all the information. I?m also going to only include the more interesting bits.

* Harvey Dent reveals himself to be Batman at a wild press conference at Superior Court Dent.

* The National Guard patrols through downtown Gotham.

* At Wayne Enterprises, a new character named Reese (played by Joshua Harto) tries to blackmail Lucius Fox using Batman?s identity.

* Bruce Wayne discusses his plans for Lau (played by Chin Han) with Lucius Fox. But the real question is, who is Lau?

* Someone breaks in to the Wayne Enterprises? Research and Development, and Fox is notified.

* Jim Gordon explains ?just enough? to get Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) to issue search warrants. For what, we don?t know.

* Jim Gordon tells Commissioner Loeb (played by Colin McFarlane) that his life is threatened, Loeb drinks to that.

* Harvey Dent promises the Mayor a crime-free 18 months right before a fake Batman hits the Mayors Office window.

* A fake Batman hangs from the flagpole outside City Hall.

* Jim Gordon tries to get Reese out out of the street entrance of a tv studio, but an angry mob appears. Bruce Wayne serves as a distraction. I wonder what Reese was doing on TV? May-be he was there to reveal Batman?s identity? But if so, why would Bruce Wayne help him out? The actor playing Reese (Joshua Harto) looks pretty young. May-be he?s an up-and-coming reporter who somehow figured out Batman?s true identity? But this still doesn?t explain why there is an angry mob awaiting his exit from the building.

Anthony Michael Hall?s character is not featured, as far as we know.

    • I've always preferred this possibility. There is something that feels good about the idea that all matter in the universe will eventually come back together and maybe even result in another big bang. The idea that the universe would fizzle out over the eons and forever drift apart is a little depressing. I realize it is not logical to let a basic human desire for life to have a grand everlasting meaning change the way I feel about a scientific theory, but I am human, so that is how I feel :-).
    • Windoze 11 could finally go to hell, instead of making me savor yet another error I've never had. "Bad Pool Caller" or whatever TF cryptic crap0la message it is. Adding salt to injury, it says something along these lines (on the blank black screen after it hard stops): "Your windoze needs to restart. You can restart." NO WAY SHERLOCK. The PEECEE, look, it's *blocked*, I can do jack sh1t with it as it is and you say that it needs to restart? Further, that I can restart? What am I supposed to do, take a herbal bath? Sudo a sandwich? Timewaster pile of useless slop and errors, coded by monkeys and force-fed on us by a pedo-founded corporation, that's all there is to it. Now, let's have a fun weekend trying to handle the error, which after a quick internet check can basically be due to EVERYTHING, from memory faults to drivers to motherboard issues. Thanks M$.
    • Zen Browser 1.21.3b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders.
