I am probably more excited by this than any summer movie in 2008 than anything else I've seen for a summer preview.

Me too. I haven't been this hype about any movie since Spider-man 2, which I thought was decent but was a let down compared to the hype. I hope I'm not too hype for this one. The Joker character has a lot to live up to.

Very, very spoilerish so be warned.. this may not last as well:

wow just wow...I am tempted to use one of those as my sig but I will not spoil it for people!

I was debating clicking it, as I am trying to hold off on spoilers, and only see the mainstream stuff. I caved in and clicked it... but it had been taken away!! :cat:

Don't worry because its back!!! :D

Not the best trailer in the world, just shows you Joker (Heath Ledger, oh yeah) will be the main villan (duh). Knew that after Batman Begins was released.

Christopher Nolan steps back into the director's chair to pick up where Batman Begins left off in this sequel that finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis -- the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, and Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger dons the maniacal makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Release: July 15, 2008 (subject to change)

Watch It

Its real. It showed up on Yahoo! Movies as well.

Its a complete piece of junk. I dont even consider it a trailer. They should have just saved themselves a few thousand dollars and instead released a 10 second trailer which showed the Batman logo, since that is all thise 56 second trailer is (just 56 seconds of revealing the Batman logo with a bunch of dialogue which means nothing to us at this point).

Im not sure of the point of this trailer. Im pretty sure they know we know that the film is actively being produced...cant hide a building explosion and fire in Chicago for a scene in the movie :p

Kind of pointless when a trailer is released to do nothing more than say: "hey, we are alive and actually making this film".

It's called a teaser trailer because they don't show any of the movie probably because they don't have much to show yet. Teaser trailer people, have you never seen one?
