ummm... holy crap?

ummm... holy crap?

Hehe :D call me an extensions addict or whatever, but I just like how all those extension make browsing such a pleasant experience. And the only performance impact all of them do is make startup time slower and add maybe 40Mb ram usage. My firefox never takes up more than 200MB ram when browsing with like 10 tabs. Resources is not an issue for me as you can see from my specs...

Careful, Neowin staff doesn't take kindly to users mentioning they use ad-blocking measures. My warn level reflects this...

 Adblock and Noscript are arguably the 2 best extensions for Firefox. Nobody is talking about specifically blocking Neowin adds, they're talking about using very useful extensions in general.

I have way too many extensions but I use them all...

Adblock; Allow Right Click; Customize Google; Dictionary Search; Download Status Bar; Gmail Notifier; IE View; Image Toolbar; NoScript; Password Exporter; Save Image in Folder; Undo Closed Tab.

I used to use TabMixPlus but it don't work with 2.0

The best new feature of Firefox is the spel cheeker. Works a treat even though it doesn't recognize "Firefox" as a correctly spelt word.

Im going to wait till they(whoever they are)update tabmix plus to work in FF2 before i upgrade to FF2, such a fine addition to all the other plugins so far

I didn't see these ones mentioned before (so please accept my apologies if they've already been posted)

Auto Copy

- Allows you to highlight text and it automatically copies it to the clipboard. It can be turned on or off via an icon in in the Status Bar.

Add Bookmark Here

- Adds a link to the root of each folder in your Bookmarks.

dotCOMplete

- Allows you to customise keyboard short cuts.

- For example I like to have SHIFT+ENTER automatially fill out .net (e.g. type in "neowin" and then use the shortcut to add the www. and .net part around the text).

myurlbar_a

- Typing a name in the Address bar will automatically search your Bookmarks and provide a quick link.

ummm... holy crap?

You don't need an automatic filter updater, just configure it once and the n every few weeks or so

- Download Statusbar 0.9.4.3

- DownThemAll! 0.9.9.7

I don't need it often but i sure comes in handy when downloading pdfs or something from a professor's website

Be sure to check this extension out! You can drag and drop text, links, images in any direction and then open the url, save the image, searxh for the text in your favourite search engine and much more.

- Greasemonkey 0.6.6.20061017.0

Trying it out. Still trying to find any really good userscripts.

Much, much better then CompactMenu. More Options, it looks better...

yes but I do not want to be using that.

Is there a particular reason? I have it installed just so that I can disable the compatibility checking. Usually the extension works just fine, it's just that the author of the extension didn't program the OK for some version numbers.

While the general look and aesthetics remain unchanged compared to the previous gen, the Gen 2 features redesigned wear-detection sensors, which accurately pause your music the moment you take them off. Additionally, the headphones now support lossless audio via a direct USB-C wired connection, letting you enjoy uncompressed sound when plugged into your laptop or phone. There is also spatial audio support (works wirelessly) for a more immersive audio experience and improved noise cancellation, which makes the QuietComfort Ultra go-to headphones for many users on long flights or other scenarios when they need to isolate themselves from the surrounding noise. The QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 2) also features Bluetooth Multipoint for seamless switching between two devices at once. As for battery life, you get up to 30 hours on a single charge (up to 23 hours when using spatial audio). Besides good audio quality and noise cancellation, the headphones should be comfortable to wear, thanks to the lightweight 250-gram design and soft protein-leather ear pads. • Started implementing weapons! Here's a little sneak peek! 👀 Animation was done inside of Unreal Engine using Control Rig! Really useful tool, I don't have to go back and forth between Blender and UE, you can basically make tweaks while the game is running.
    • Keep in mind Intuit has lobbied like crazy to keep taxes complicated so they can continue to sell tax software. They also got caught hiding their legally mandated free version so they could release a second one that pushed countless people into charges they didn't need to pay to file. Intuit leads the charge on inventing problems so they can sell you the solution and disrespecting you in the process.
    • Oddly, there was a time that UFC games were culturally relevant, largely because of the graphics and gameplay that was different than the norm. But it seems like as the sport grew in popularity, gaming outlets stopped talking about the games.
