Got my Athlon 2600 overclocked from 1.9ghz to 2.35ghz using four case fans.... two blowing in and two out. Takes it up to about an Athlon 3000 (bios recognises it as a 3000)

Cpu temp idle = 36

Cpu temp full load = 42

Can't push it any higher, however it is running extremely stable!!

lol... my videocard runs @ 200MHz GPU/186MHz RAM (nVIDIA GeForce 2 MX 400 32MB RAM.... YEH I KNOW ITS CRAPPY :D but ill get nother one soon)

rofl

Waiting for the video card to come back from RMA so I can overclock that and put up an overall system overclock

I made a registry key to display my cpu in the my computer properties . . . uAMD Tool says I have a 3600, and Sisoft Sandra says 3487, so I picked the number in the middle

I was messing with my AX4C MAX just right now. (PC4000 512 1 stick brand - quality rams) I had my P4 2.8C running at 215 for a long time. I tried 220 but it crashed. Then I read the aopen pcstat report and they said they put their mem to 2.8v so I did just that. I've got it to 225 and the ddr is set to 440. This is stock cooling, I believe I can push it as high as 230 with a new cooler :D

Ill post SS later.

Amd 64 3200 +

Stock cooling.

2.0ghz -> 2.55ghz

Runs at no higher than 39C during 3d mark 03.

Didnt fiddle with memory timings becuase i think my memmory is bad for that twinsmos 3200 dual pack (i think, i might have 4gotten)

When it was at 2.6 during 3d mark 03 i would get kinda wierd flashes, werent very noticeable, and its hard dto describe what it was, but it was like the image wasnt going away before the new image came though?

  • 2 weeks later...

Pentium 133 -> 533 stock voltage and cooling

sempron 2200+ 1.5ghz -> 1.8ghz 1.85v 200fsb

Athlon xp-m 2400+ -> 2600mhz 13*200 1.9v runs at 49 after couple hours prime 95 on air! :D

Nvidia MX4000 250/400 ->

Ati Radeon 9800se 297/594 -> 350/680

Nvidia 6200 300/500-> 350/600

this is most of them as i can remember not brill but o/c neva the less :D

I've gotten back into overclocking in the last few days. I'm back with:

P4 3.0c @ 3.69 GHz w/ 246FSB, 1.6Vcore

Corsair TwinX1024-3200LL @ 197MHz

Cooled with Thermalright XP-120 and Panaflo 120mm medium speed, and I get 50C idle and 59C load. I just lapped my HSF and reapplyed AS5 today, so hopefully temps will drop once the paste breaks in a little. Currently Priming now for the break in. I think I'll get a Panaflo 120mm high speed and see how the temps do with that.

It's pretty warm in my room though. AC isn't running and no fans in the room. I only have the window open. I need to get a themometer for my room to see how warm it is in here

    • BS, I've yet to run into a typical pc user that uses it at all, let alone half the population.
