Zune Theme Modified To True Royale Black Theme!

hi, im here to make another request...

i do not know if you guys have created.

I previously wanted the background of zune is orange.

My sister wants a background of black, white font with zune.

Is it possible to help me out for another time?

Anywho...

Proper version for ralliart12 (Royale Noir) with working progress bar [FithElements Blue]. Here

I tried the red fonts on start button/menu and it looks awful.. can hardlyread it. So this is the white version.

Erm, according to the pinned thread at the top of the page, to use a msstyle file, I will need to ...

2. Extract the visual style to a folder with the same name in the following directory: C:\Windows\Resources\Themes. For example, if the msstyles file is xyz.msstyles, create a folder called ?xyz? in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and extract xyz.msstyles to that folder.

3. To load the visual style, go to the Display Properties > Appearance > Windows and Buttons, and find the visual style. Do not look for the visual style in the Themes tab. You can also double-click the msstyles file.

But I'm ALREADY using my current Royale Noir theme, & there is ALREADY a Royale Noir folder inside my resources/theme folder. May I know how t\how do I de-conflict both? i.e. do I delete my current Royale Noir folder, replace the royale noir mssytle file only, or wat?

Dude, you didn't change this -> 'closebuttonglyph.bmp' and it's sizes. You have a black close button with an orange cross on click.

But I'm ALREADY using my current Royale Noir theme, & there is ALREADY a Royale Noir folder inside my resources/theme folder. May I know how t\how do I de-conflict both? i.e. do I delete my current Royale Noir folder, replace the royale noir mssytle file only, or wat?

Just overwrite the .msstyles file.

but my file explorer background menu is white...

It was actually Black when i use the background of orange menu version

Can you make it black?

It sounds like you haven't extracted the zune.msstyles file into the correct folder, or you have just double clicked it on the desktop.

The explorer side menu colour is controlled by shellstyle.dll.

1. Put the zune.msstyles I made into C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Zune. - in that folder there should be another folder called "Shell", within that folder is another folder called "NormalColor", and within that should be the Shellstyle.dll. if it is not there you can download it here

2. Either double-click the zune.msstyles in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Zune OR Double-click the 2Kb Zune theme file located a directory above. (C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes)

Since it doesn't look like fifthelement is going to be making the full blue zune theme, would you be willing to make a true BLACK version of your theme, oddbasket - or would you please make a true blue version of fifthelement's most recently released theme?

You mean take everything I've done to the noir and dump it into zune? Sorry dude, as I said before, I don't even like the zune theme enough to work on it. And people who say they like the zune are trying to change away everything that makes it zune. I only do what I can to finish the Royale Noir theme. I've got nothing against you, no hard feelings, ok? :no:

Lol, yea no hard feelings. I just don't think your grayish/blue version is better than a true black/blue version. i know its all a matter of personal choice, of course ;)

Why don't you like the Zune theme? I don't care much for it either, I much rather like your royale noir version, everything about it, except for the gray aspect, I'd just prefer black which is why I asked to modify Zune.

Actually, is it hard to modify the color of the window bars? If so I might just personally modify royale noir to true black. It shouldn't be too hard to just change one line, right?

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it as I do like your royale noir, I just wanted a black version as opposed to gray. =D

Antioch, if you don't want to mod the graphics you want and dump into zune, than you will need to extract and dump zune's black taskbars (many bitmaps) into noir, which is alot more if you want the controls to match the black as well. You need a resource editor like reshacker. Easier to just dump into zune.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that the company is planning to increase the prices of some of its products due to the ongoing memory and storage shortages. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Cook confirmed the looming price hikes for Apple’s future products, adding that “Unfortunately, price increases are unavoidable.” He also said the company is doing its best to “mitigate the huge increases that are being passed to us, and we’ve been trying to shield our customers from the increases, but the situation has become unsustainable.” The Apple CEO also noted that the allocation of a large portion of memory chips to AI companies has contributed to shortages in the market, resulting in lower supply at a time when demand for devices remains high. “We definitely need memory pricing and supply to return to reasonable levels for consumer products. That’s the bottom line,” Cook said. Cook also added that Apple is ready to use its vast cash reserves to help boost supply in the market because additional production capacity is needed. While he declined to specify how Apple plans to do that, he said the company will not build its own memory and storage factories despite its financial resources and silicon expertise. Cook did not provide further details on the scale of the price increases or which Apple products would be affected, though iPads and Macs could see higher prices sooner than other products. Apple’s next product launch event is scheduled for September, when the company is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone. It remains unclear whether the upcoming iPhones will be affected by the price increases, but given the current memory shortage, higher prices seem increasingly likely. There is currently no clear timeline for the end of the memory shortage.       +1000 to this, don't understand why they added that margin around the top bar, even the close button is a PITA to click without aiming. Ofc, this is just preview and hopefully they will revert such odd UX decision before hitting final version.
