I had that same thing, but somehow managed to get it working. I think you have to select TV-out signal type from Nvidia Control Panel and reboot.

I tried with the modded inf and it still won't install.

Can someone confirm the following:

1. OpenGL is included

2. A serious control panel is included, with rotation feature for instance (not the fake control panel we've seen in earlier betas)

OpenGL is included, Doom3 runs pretty nice now, which if u didn't know, is OpenGL, I also don't get any artifacts in Source engine games, which i did with the RTM drivers (96.86) :p

There is the new CPL from nVidia included in these, but I can't see no rotation options....

@Whole Wheat Pig: The way I did it, was I left the modified .inf file as its named (NVLH.inf) and placed it into the same directory as the other .inf (NVMT.inf) and it installed fine...

What is with all these incrimental driver releases? Are they legit?

The 97.19 drivers are leaps and bounds above the RC2 drivers from nvidia. My big question is if these "new" drivers bring anything to the table.

Does the Control panel actually work? <--- This is my big question... any takers?

I want Vsync and AF.

Performance is still crap compared to XP. They need to sort it out - Vista has been in beta for ages now for gods sake...

Personally, I'm not prepared to install Vista on my machine again until these drivers are out of the door, and on the nVidia website from an official source.

These drivers wont install for me, the install goes fine, I restart, but still says 97.19 and I dont see any control panel. Are we not suppose to use the setup.exe to install?

if I try to install using have disk, it says the drivers are not made for vista.

edit: does anyone have the inf mod for x64?

You don't even need to do that. I just shoved the inf file there and it installed. ;)

Unfortunately resume from standby still doesn't work for me. It seems no matter what drivers I try, either sleep mode or dual monitors works, but not both.
