Playstation Store Update Thread

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, this question may have already been answered/asked, but say for example, I bought a game through the Playstation Store under my PS3 user account, will it also show up on my brother's PS3 user account as well? Because I know it doesn't show up on the other account in terms of copying a video file onto the PS3.

I think as long as they are on the same PS3 console it will.

Hmmm, the PS Store has changed a lot during E3... the buttons are all beveled and everything, and the E3 background there hides all the labels on the buttons, I can't read at all! Does anybody else hate the new theme?

I wish I could use the old one again...

I like the new style of the buttons, but I'm hating some of the backgrounds in some sections of the store. I can't read anything at all.

EU update...

Hope you all enjoyed the E3 trailers we put on the store yesterday, there were definitely some great titles shown off. Now though, it’s back to normal proceedings with our weekly Thursday publish.

For those of you who’ve been asking about the release of Final Fantasy VII, I can confirm that we now have the English and Spanish language versions live on the Store today. Although, I have to apologise to those who are waiting for the French and German language versions as we’ve had to delay those versions until tomorrow afternoon.

Alongside the release of FFVII we’ve got a nicely varied selection of content for you this week: there is the great puzzler Trash Panic; for the fight-fans out there we have the demo of Fight Night Round 4; GTI Club gets some additional cars for you to race in; and those Resistance 2 Grim and Malikov skins are now available too. It’s also a pleasure for us to feature the first batch of downloadable tracks for Rock Band Unplugged for our PSP users.

It doesn’t stop there though; see the full list below for more.

It’s only the beginning of June, but I think we’ve got off to a good start. And, there’s a great deal more brilliant content coming this month (and beyond) so be sure to join me every Thursday to check it out.

sorry if this was asked before, i am trying to figure out all the sources of information for online-store updates.

does anyone know how to get a coming-soon list of games to the US-online store for the PS3.

for example, if i want to know when Street Fighter 4 will be released...etc

thanks!

Hmmmm

Will we have an update today?

Although I guess that US store is updated by USA and European store is updated by Europe, maybe they could not get some content from the Japan headquarters due to the earthquake?

If so, that is totally normal.

I read somewhere that Final Fantasy shut down their servers to consume electricity which the country desperetaly needs.

Sony's accidentally uploaded Uncharted: Golden Abyss for 79p on the PS Store instead of the Map DLC for the game. It's usually ?39.99 on the store, get to it before they remove it. It's downloading over 3GB worth of data, so I know it's the full game.

Edit to make it more clear: DOWNLOAD THE MAP DLC, IT'S THE WHOLE GAME, FOR 79p!

Damn, it is moments like these I wish they had an online store like Xbox.com does, as I am at work and will not be home for several hours. I wonder if it is going to stick for those who do get it.

Splinter Cell HD collection is available for cheap for PS+ users, the collection itself is ?24 but if you buy them individually they are ?4 each, I just scored Splinter Cell HD, Pandora Tomorrow HD and Chaos Theory HD (the only decent games in the franchise) for ?12.

So did not think it was worth it's own topic, but maybe it is, but did anyone else happen to get the email with a survey sent out from Sony today about the PSN and +?

I would say it is pointing towards the fact + will be morphing into more of an XBox Live service sooner rather then later. At least that is my guess on things considering the nature of the questions combined with the latest financial reportings from camp Sony. Only time will tell.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

While Microsoft is still not ready to share new details about MV2 extensions in Microsoft Edge, the company shared important details about the way it will be updating the browser going forward. Now, Microsoft wants to update Edge every two weeks across all platforms instead of the current four-week schedule (only the Extended Stable is exempt from this change). There is also nice build quality and a quite affordable price. Pulasthi Ariyasinghe reviewed 007 First Light. The game turned out to be a satisfying spy adventure in the James Bond universe with great gunplay and combat, impressive crowds, over-the-top action sequences, and more. The latest drop is upgrading the visuals and regional accuracy of three metropolitan regions in the American states of Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The 15th city update is adding eight new areas of interest that have been enhanced with high-fidelity TIN (triangulated irregular network) surface texturing in the mentioned regions. The free update highlights Chicago, Elgin, Cicero, and Arlington Heights in Illinois, as well as Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Duluth, Brooklyn Park, Woodbury, Lakeville, Plymouth, and Blaine in Minnesota. In Wisconsin, the development has also upgraded the lands and buildings of Milwaukee, Madison, and Racine. The update lands just as one of the world's largest enthusiast flight simulation conventions, FlightSimExpo, kicks off in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 14. The Flight Sim development team's 40-minute keynote at the event can be watched here. At the same time, Microsoft is bringing the 6-seat, single-engine, multi-use light civil airplane Piper M600 into the game as a part of its Expert Series 2 program. This premium plane can be purchased from the in-game marketplace for $24.99. City Update 15: The United States Midwest is now available in Microsoft Flight Simulator, as well as the newer Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, as an optional download. It can be accessed across Steam and the Microsoft Store for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox and PC Game Pass subscriptions. Xbox One, mobile, and PC players can also jump into the new content using Xbox Cloud Gaming if they have a Game Pass Ultimate membership. The game must be updated to the latest version to download this free update from the in-game marketplace.
