The REAL game starts... (Puzzle Box 1)

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about the Austin event. Now Microsoft put a lot of work into this campaign, and if they are as smart as I give the credit for, the would have planned for a setback like the weather forcing an event to cancel. the events are probably somewhat modular in case of something like this. The question of how the different times and events will affect the clues given and when the box unlocks is a good one. it would be logical to give different clues at each, spreading the information and making the game (minutely) harder. also it would allow for MORE information to be passed on. and with the cancellation of the austin even I'm going to assume that each of the other presentations will have information from it added in as well.

Here is a sat photo of the cordinates in LA. Today is 1.13 It should be unlocked as soon as the LA timer reaches 0. Anyone nearby?

I think you must've typed it the wrong co-ordinates on that map, you have the wrong location there :/

here is the proper location...

yeah.. that's the right location. As I said before, all of the locations this time are in parks.

About the weather thing... I think MS was trying to gear away from that, since the clues today are going to be in places that don't have harsh weather on a regular basis. So maybe they just felt like they were going to be lucky :p

What's going to be interesting.. is to see how the Florida and Sydney way go, since they are both scheduled to start at the exact same time.

that's very likely, a good businessman, after all, hopes for the best, but prepares for the worst. They were probably trying to avoid bad weather, and assumed it wouldn't be, I still betcha they had a backup plan just in case though ;)

I think there should be a separate thread for the 2nd puzzle box. This way it will be easy to see where the discussions started, and not have to look through the old one.

If a mod is reading.. could you please make this happen?

FYI:

20 more minutes!!

we could just mark the begining at whatever page, if a mod isn't around atm. otherwise that's not a bad idea at all

All of the events are supposed to be the same, from what we'd been told by people at 42. I expect that the puzzle box will unlock in 13 minutes.

Side note: Has anyone gotten any credit for bringing in a referral? I supposedly have at least one, but I don't seem to have any more points than I earned for registration and solving the week 1 puzzles.

Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools.
