HOLY S***!!

Mystery Spot, CA is the new starting point. This is pretty crazy that they would change this. I just verified that it DID change.

Gary

Hehe it seems that nobody is coming with the correct answer, and I was right sticking to that place as the starting

point, but I've to give credit to some other folks that mentioned it before.

Does the forum accept upload of other types rather than images ? I've no problem to post a copy of the spreadsheet

I'm using.

Cheers

Does your post mean that you've found the "correct answer"?

Well, I thought back to my physics days and came up with superposition.

if you go, 5000 to the right and 4000 to lef the left, you really only went 1000 to the right. You don't have to do all the different direction, jsut find the master direction.

Considering right and up as positive, add rights with lefts, and down with ups. You get 1582.89 right and 304.48 down.

Starting anywhere in Ca you bascially get somewhere just west of the Mississippi.

I search around looking for a city with an I starting it and found Itasca Texas.

I'm going with Itasca.

But, feel free to use my idea of superpostion to find your own city. If only we had the mystetious spot.

If you assume Mystery Spot CA is M.S. ca, that's in San Fransico. Then, it's 1582.89 right and 304.48 down is almost exactly Iredell Texas.

Lorelei, Odessa, Kara, Iredell

Or Irving.

umm...or INGRAM...thats what i used

If you start from Mystery Point, CA, you come somewhere in Mississippi Stati... This state id is MS, that is same tham Microsoft...Should this be a clue we are in a right way?

It's Mystery Spot, CA not Mystery Point, MS to MS

If the mystery spot is in california then we should try to start from LAX airport, because you can arrange the letters in TANIL to LA INT. as in LA INTERNATIONAL airport. Or even Playa Vista which is next to the airport.

No I don't think so, I'm still working with the numbers. Trying to do this on an online map is too tedious

and probably will provide and incorrect answer.

Remember pi ? now is when we need to use it :-)

Cheers

PS. Plz don't follow exactly the numbers I posted before, I'm still working with the formulas and probably some

of them may be wrong. I'll post all the numbers as soon as I'm done with it and the numbers make sense,

and don't think I'm not willing to share, as I said before I don't give a squat about having my name under

a heathsink, but in case I'll ask to have some name representative of the forums since I can't take credit

myself for the excellent work that many folks here have been doing for more than a month now !!

I got a little bit lost. So are you trying to find her TRUE identity? why "fourth name"...i dont get it. Whats the friggin task this time? The location? finding what? whats the MAIN thing we need to find? I'll get right crackin' :) lol

My guess is that the last riddle will provide an answer that combined somehow with TANLI or LATIN or

whatever combination is right will give you the final clue to put together the final answer.

I'm still having a hard time accepting that each word has to start with L, O, K and I, but makes

sense, unless the answer is actually the name of "something" that has four words, just giving

the personal names sounds too trivial but I may be wrong.

Cheers

Yes, it's in Santa Cruz.

That's the correct starting point.

NEW CHANGE TO ROAMINGROAMING SITE:

"Remember, even the smallest places have names"

Follow the directions and write down the names.

They see we're having trouble and giving us hints - guess they overestimated how difficult it is to map coordinates by mileage!

Wow... wish somebody'd thought of that earlier... ;)

    • Bluesky COO warns social media regulations could destroy competition from small startups by Paul Hill Fears that increasing government control of social media risks regulatory capture by the biggest social media firms were raised again recently. Bluesky’s chief operating officer said in an interview that social media bans for children and tighter regulations for social media firms risk creating a world where there are only a few social media platforms run by companies with the deepest pockets. Regulations on social media firms have been very lax since they appeared for mainstream users in the 2000’s. This gave Meta, Snapchat, and Google time to build up their user bases and get entrenched, with Meta being the most successful. Now that Meta has succeeded, it has been attempting regulatory capture. By pushing for more regulations of social media, Meta hopes to make it more difficult for rivals to challenge it. For its part, it doesn’t need to worry about the cost of regulation because it has a lot of money to spend, whereas startups do not. Speaking to CNBC, Rose Wang, Bluesky’s chief operating officer, said: “I support the protection and the safety of youth, the question that we have then is at what cost, because essentially what I’m scared of is in the long term, we’re headed to a world where there’s about three to five platforms, and extreme heavy regulation of those platforms, and basically the whole compliance teams of these platforms are 10 times the size of our entire team. So, basically, we’re living in a world where it’s almost impossible for smaller entrants to come in and build healthier spaces. These platforms have led to a place where the bottom line is the thing that drives what they do... so I understand why governments have to step in and regulate, because the platforms have done nothing right.” She said that while she is not against regulation, there needs to be more channels between the small to mid-sized players and regulators to help protect them. She says that big tech players, on the other hand, “who we know are circumventing regulation,” need to be regulated. Essentially, the Bluesky position is one of nuance, rather than absolutes. While Bluesky’s proposal may preserve competition in the social media space, it still doesn’t address the massive privacy implications these age verification measures introduce, such as handing over sensitive identity documents to access age-gated content.
