Grand Theft Auto IV

Even though nothing is known about GTA4 you just know it's going to rock!! I wonder whats going to be new....I always thought it would be cool to put all the freerunning Parkour abilities into GTA.

Parkour would be awesome!

If anyone is wondering what it is, watch the opening scene in Casino Royale.

The 'african american'(?) dude is doing it on the construction site while running from Mr Bond :o

The Warriors game had a great system for jumping over fences and such. It was very fluid - I wish they would adapt it into GTA..

I know it will be released for both but I still believe the PS3 version will have more features than the 360, I don't think the PS3 version will be toned down to match the 360 standards, I think if anything the 360 version will come with multiple discs.

LOL toned down for the 360...I am not even gonna begin to explain the thousands of things wrong with that statement.

Dam Oct. Is Just too far away ehh but yeah nonetheless its going to be an amazing game.Would be cool if it was in the bay area,Id go to yahoo and burn it to the ground and then take a few hookers to Google and party it up.

1 thing i know is that we defo need some long american roads... somewhere we can open up those sports cars and bikes! and i bet theres dogs in it this time, and i hope you can get one to attack people... :D

There's actually plenty of road in GTA:SA for the sports cars and motorcycles. And for people saying not to set it in the UK because they don't want to drive backwards...people in the UK playing these games have to deal with that. People act like that's a US only thing.

It's actually very fun to drive on the side you see as backwards to see how fast you can go and how long you can go without hitting any car coming at you. It's also a good way to build up your characters driving abilities if you manage to drive that way for long amounts of time at high speed wihtout hitting anything. I was getting to the point where I could easily ride a motorcycle or car around like that for 30 minutes at a time. Haven't played it in a while so I doubt I could do that again.

i know there is plenty of road but i want more :D, just to be able to drive a motorbike along a very long road for some time, and take like little road trips in the game, would be great.

They both will have DLC exclusive to each console.

No, only the 360 ...and please prove me wrong

While GTAIV's planned debut on the 360 was news enough, Moore went one further. He announced that "Microsoft and Rockstar have entered into an exclusive deal to provide episodic content via Xbox Live Marketplace" for GTAIV. At X06, Microsoft detailed the exclusive content as "two epic episodes of GTAIV via Xbox Live, each with hours of new gameplay available only on Xbox 360 just months after [GTAIV's] release."

:::apparently I didn't completely read the whole link i posted...it proves me wrong right there. I hope the rumor isn't true...I don't want exclusive stuff to each console

Now, a report has surfaced that may make the 360 GTAIV episodes not appear to be as much of a coup as they seemed. Citing a source close to GTA developer Rockstar North, Eurogamer reports that the PS3 edition of GTAIV will be getting its own episodic content in "the form of brand new areas which will link into the main GTAIV game world." According to the source, one should "think of the [GTA IV]world as a large island--the new downloadable areas will be like smaller islands linking into it."

LOL. Have you seen the comparisons of the two consoles? They're pretty much the same in terms of graphics, and I really really really doubt it'll come on multiple DVD's.

We are talking bout space not graphical quality here. If Rockstar filled the blu ray up then in order to have it on the 360 it wud need to be toned down to fit, not graphical quality. Get a grip fanboys.

What PC game takes more than one dual layer dvd? PC games run at over 1080p resolutions, and they have yet to be on multiple dvd-'s/blu-ray/hd-dvd. You should look up "padding to reduce load times" to understand why ps3 games require more space.

I don't live under a rock. Ten to one, I know more about compression than you do. I only edit audio/video for a living :p

Since when are PC games a factor? We are talking console. If Rockstar took full advantage of bly ray, maybe even dual layer, 50 GB, if they wanted to fit it on a 10GBDVD it requires compression, now what if it was already compressed to fit on 50GB, it wud need to be compressed even more then wouldn't it? I'm saying it wud be stupid of Rockstar to limit the games size on the PS3 just so its the same as the 360. You may no more about compression, but not as much about business, I do that for a living :p

Nonetheless lets stop this arguing, I dun really want to get into it anymore than I already have. Back to the topic.

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
