I've now seen two trailers. Both claimed to be real, but one came from Rockstar server so guessing that one is real and that one involved the LAPD.

Looks like it's set in New York.

nothign in thei video is impossible on the 360 or the PS3.

and there are certain key factors in the video that does indicate it's in game real time and not pre-rendered.

from low res textures, to the shadows and other things. yeah this is most likely how the game will look.

Guys this was real-time. And I have absolutely no idea why anyone would think otherwise. It's very obvious it is, and I am impressed with the visuals, more to the point the lighting engine.

As for the trailer itself.. I was disappointed to be honest, no real gameplay footage, no real "game concept" information. Things are supposed to be different in GTA4, but this trailer doesn't tell us :(.

The gametrailers link worked for me. Took a while, and it's a large file, but it looks great.

Definatly Liberty City, it's on the back of the boat they show...
