Electric for me. I'm told that using a razor is superior (in that you get a closer shave), but when it's 5:15 AM, I tend to be very clumsy (even more so, that is). I want shaver that presents the smallest chance of carving my face up.

Electric.

I did have a week or so where I used a razor, but it just took too long. Yes, I have to shave more regularly with an electric (still don't have to shave every day though lol, the joys of still being 16 lol), but it takes less time, and lets me get up later for school lol.

Electric for 27 years. Razors just burn my skin too much. Electrics are

easier to deal with. No shaving cream, plus I can watch the news in the

morning while shaving.

Battery-operated razors, ftw!

I have a Gillette Fusiion Power - the [5-blade, 1-blade at the top] kind.

I really don't see the difference between expensive razors and regular 2 blade disposables... so I use the latter. I just think people need to learn how to shave better.

I agree, in fact I recently went to a Merkur HD double edge razor and have noticed a lot less ingrown hairs on my neck (which I always just assumed was generic acne). The razor is a bit expensive up front, but considering that replacement blades are sold in packs of 10 for only a few dollars and the Gillette fusions ones were 15+$ a pack of four... you get your money back in about a month.

I have also ditched the cheap shaving gels as well and actually take a few minutes to lather up a shaving soap with a brush and massage the lather on my face. It makes shaving a really enjoyable experience.

Electric razors irritate my neck so badly that I have a huge red spot on the left side of neck the rest of the day. (N)

Both, but mostly electric. I used to use Gillette and Gillette Gel, but now electric because when I shave using a razor, I have a baby face, which I don't like. So electric leaves a very slight beard and mustache, which looks cool.

ditto. I'm in my mid-20's and still can't grow a beard. Only stubble. I need to replace my electric. Keep nicking myself on the chin with the razor. Razor gives a closer shave - at least compared to the electric I have. I might get one of the wet/dry ones since I shave after shower.

    • VidCoder 12.20 by Razvan Serea VidCoder is a DVD/Blu-ray ripping and video transcoding application for Windows. It uses HandBrake as its encoding engine. Calling directly into the HandBrake library gives it a more rich UI than the official HandBrake Windows GUI. VidCoder can rip DVDs but does not defeat the CSS encryption found in most commercial DVDs. You’ll need the NET 8 Desktop Runtime. If you don’t have it, VidCoder will prompt you to download and install it. The Portable version is self-contained and does not require any .NET Runtime to be installed. You do not need to install HandBrake for VidCoder to work. Feature list: Multi-threaded MP4, MKV containers Completely integrated encoding pipeline: everything is in one process and no huge intermediate temporary files H.264, H.265, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, VP8, Theora video Hardware-accelerated encoding with AMD VCE, Nvidia NVENC and Intel QuickSync AAC, MP3, Vorbis, AC3, FLAC audio encoding and AAC/AC3/MP3/DTS/DTS-HD passthrough Target bitrate, size or quality for video 2-pass encoding Decomb, detelecine, deinterlace, rotate, reflect, chroma smooth, colorspace filters Powerful batch encoding with simultaneous encodes Customizable Pickers to automatically pick audio and subtitle tracks, destination, titles and more Instant source previews Creates small encoded preview clips Pause, resume encoding VidCoder 12.20 changes: Updated HandBrake core to 1.11.2. • Too soon, I'm still not over this death!
    • Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary to compete against AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update bug that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.
    • ALL versions or ALL SUPPORTED versions? Neowin does it again.
