[Cancelled] Sarah Connor Chronicles (Terminator Series)

am i the only one that think her face is a bit weird?

:o

in the unlikely event that we ever meet... i'll keep a paper bag handy :p

gtfo! I'd macgyver a way to kill you with that paper bag if you tried to put it over her  She's perfect the way she is. Imperfections is what makes people better imo. More real, more human. Same goes for too much makeup, makes them look to fake, I'd like my women to look real not like a mannequin.

QFT- lol for macgyver.

This isn't really Terminator related, but more Summer related and since this thread seems to be about both I might as well post it. lol

FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World '09

Summer placed 16th- Good for her.

this begs for this phrase again:

I'ts hot in here, must be Summer

I posted this on my tumblr because it won't embed here its some weird interview with a goth chick but I love Lena's accent.

However slightly aroused I was when I saw Lena dressed like that quickly faded when the other girl kept pushing the fact she was a lesbian in my face.

well considering that show airs on LOGO, a gay network, does that really surprise you?

Summer, summer, summer. What's she doing driving a mini! Almost lost some respect for her, then I looked at her and realized I don't care what she drives. Unless its a vespa.. then we might have some issues.

oh common now.. If she rode up on a Vespa wearing an open face help and said jump on the back you are going to say no?

So our show?s stars and crew are scattered off trying to get some extra work in while they?re waiting on word about a Season 3.

First up Corona Coming Attractions had a nice long chat w/ TSCC Co-Producer/writer Ashley Miller about season 2. Here?s an excerpt:

CA: OK, here?s a bit of a geeky question but it just shows that the writers of the show are thinking about this stuff too. The show explains that time travel doesn?t create paradoxes, instead it creates new future timelines that seem to rewrite over the ones that Sarah, John and Derek remember. Was this a conscious decision made early on that you guys had to figure out, and then explain to the audiences (for instance, when Derek explains to Jesse that what happened in his future isn?t the same as what she remembers happened)? Does this kind of rule for time travel make it easier or harder for your team and coming up with stories?

AEM: This was a very conscious decision on Josh?s part, and it?s inherent to the premise of the show. Not to say it didn?t lead to many long, brain-torching discussions in the writer?s room. We called them ?the rabbit hole? ? you have to go down there, but who the **** is the guy in the hat? You know?

Given that, rules makes it much easier to write stories. A strong rule creates drama because all the characters live within the rule. Compare the stultifying technobabble on Voyager with the elegant problem-solving of the original Star Trek ? one show existed in a world where rerouting the EPS conduits could fix most anything; the other show featured characters who had to let Edith Keeler die to save the future. There?s a vast difference between the two, and I?m so happy to be part of something that leans toward the latter.

Funny that you mention Derek and Jesse, because I think that was probably the best expression of the rule in action. It turned an intellectual idea into an emotional one. We?ve all had an experience where someone we think we know turns out to be someone else entirely, in terms of who they are and what they do. People close to us can have experiences we don?t know about, that we can?t understand. Profound experiences that shape them in non-deterministic ways. Jesse lost a child. Derek executed his best friend. It?s just incredibly powerful stuff. It made every trip down the rabbit hole worth the time and effort.

Another example (filed under ?happy?): Derek and John sitting on a park bench, watching young Derek and Kyle play an innocent game of baseball. In context ? the looming end of the world, the tragedies that will shape those boys ? is there any moment in the show that?s more lovely?

If you can?t change fate, there is no hope. I like to think that?s what this show is all about. The fans agree, I think.

Brian Austin Green Recently sat down and chatted in depth exclusive interview with SKYNET PODCAST about everything on T:SCC from the pilot forward, including the final three episodes of season two in detail, Derek?s death, and resurrection. But that?s not all, there?s plenty more including Brian?s upcoming projects, including his ideas for Green Lantern and his thoughts on the upcoming Terminator SaHEREm! Click HERE to download and listen to it!

Also no idea if it?s aired or not because I don?t watch these shows but Brian will be on the season finale of CSI MIAMI. Finally BAG?s working on getting the buzz out there that he?d love to try out for the part of GREEN LANTERN[/b]n-austin-green-campaigns-green-lantern-rob-6762/"]GREEN LANTERN.

Thomas Dekker is having a frightfully fun time during his time off. First up his film project ?All About Evil? wrapped up it?s production[/b]about-evil-wraps-production-new-stills/"]wrapped up it?s production in SF. All About Evil centers around a mousy librarian, who has inherited her father?s beloved but failing old movie house. In order to save the family [image] business she discovers her inner serial killer ? and a legion of rabid gore fans ? when she starts turning out a series of grisly shorts. What her fans don?t realize yet is that the murders in the movies are all too real.

Continuing to build his resume filled w/ horror movies, Thomas has been cast in the newest reboot of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET[/b]ntent_display/news/e3i360cdd62fc9ca5a89c765bddac47b174"]NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Dekker is an alpha male trying to get back together with his girlfriend. Mara plays a girl who can?t wait to leave town after graduation.

Lena Headey?s newest thriller TELL-TALE premiered at the Tribecca Film Festival this week. Sadly she wasn?t in attendance. However the film being a part of the prestigious fest got some niceVARIETYl="http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118002673.html?categoryId=3602&cs=1"]VARIETY[/url]. Also Ain?t it Cool has anice things to say about Lenad he has some nice things to say about Lena.

that bird has possibly the most awful interview technique i have ever witnessed.. it's like she hasn't even bothered to prepare!

"ok, so tell me.. why are you so awesome?"

what kind of a question is that, stupid woman. how does these people get tv shows? I feel sorry for Lena having to put up with it

*sigh*

Those really were some bad questions.

^ yea that video was funny. I got some old people I'd like to donate

Nice interview, I like hearing them talk about the show. He didn't give away/explain much though :( Still a good read. However I noticed the 1 person that matters wasn't mentioned in that post of yours. She must still be trying to find a way to my bedroom. ;)

oh common now.. If she rode up on a Vespa wearing an open face help and said jump on the back you are going to say no?

haha wellllllllll if that day comes I'll make an exception :D

Summer needs to guest star on Dollhouse :D or god forbid they don't renew Terminator, bring her into the main cast for season 2 as a new doll

That would be awesome, but I really hope SCC is a go for season 3. You would think that Fox would have to let Josh Friedman, and the writers know if the show is a go or not for season 3 before May 18th so they can start working on stories.

You'd think that lol I'm sure both will return, Fox is just letting the interwebs go crazy by not saying anything. They get to see the fans reactions especially with all the fake news about it being canned. Wouldn't surprise me if they leaked that to see what kind of reaction there was. However Summer would fit in nicely in Dollhouse. She fits the profile of most characters, already has a good relationship with Joss, Eliza and her have been doing promos for their shows, not to mention Cameron is pretty similar to an wiped Doll. But I'd settle for a guest star episode if she can't do both :)

    • Thanks for the info, but I'm still not sure if I need this....
    • We check out the SKG PS700 Neck Massager by Steven Parker I was offered the chance to test out the SKG PS700 Neck Massager, and full disclosure, they let me keep it regardless of my findings. Anyway, I jumped at the chance due to my long hours sitting at my desk; I figured it could offer some neck pain relief. What's in the box: SKG PS700-2 Neck Massager Rechargeable Battery (inside massager) Type-C USB cable User Manual Quick Start guide 1-Year Warranty In short, everything you need to get started. According to the official listing, here are the key features: Biomimetic Kneading & High Torque Motor: Designed with innovative biomimetic kneading heads that perfectly simulate the touch of human hands. Powered by a high-torque motor, this massager delivers powerful and precise deep tissue relief to effectively target stiff neck muscles and release built-up tension Soothing Heat & Integrated Sound Relaxation: Experience the ultimate Relaxationation with our dual-action approach. The soothing heat function gently warms your neck, while the built-in sound Relaxation provides calming audio tracks, helping you achieve a state of mindfulness and mental tranquility during your physical massage Cordless Convenience & Travel-Ready & Father's Day Gifts: Crafted for maximum portability and ease of use. Its lightweight, cordless design allows you to enjoy a premium massage anywhere without the hassle of tangled wires-whether you're taking a quick break at your desk or winding down at home Versatile Relief for Home & Office: An essential wellness companion for office workers, gamers, frequent travelers, or anyone looking to integrate mindfulness into their daily routine. It seamlessly fits into your lifestyle, providing instant neck relief whenever and wherever you need it Safe & Premium Materials: Manufactured with high-quality, skin-friendly materials to ensure a safe and comfortable experience without irritation. SKG backs this device with dedicated customer service, making it a thoughtful tech-health gift for family and friends App & Bluetooth Music Control: Connect via Bluetooth to control your massage settings through the dedicated app and enjoy your favorite music during your massage session for a fully customizable and immersive relaxation experience Red Light Warmth Technology: Features advanced red light warmth technology that penetrates deep into neck muscles to enhance blood circulation and provide soothing comfort while relieving muscle tension and stiffness Design With all that out of the way, here are my own findings. SKG does not say what materials are used to make the neck massager. However, on the product website, it mentions "soft-touch silicone" with what looks like PU leather cushioning, with the rest being mostly made up of plastics. On the inside of the massager, there are two "biomimetic kneading heads" that are motorized for the different styles of massage, which are not actually listed at all in the paper user manual, but the standard included modes are: De-stress mode, Mediation mode, Relax mode, Shiatsu mode. The massager looks quite premium and is actually very comfortable to wear. This massager is small and light enough to go anywhere, as it doesn't get in the way of anything, so I was able to use it in the chair while writing this review. Unlike the back massager, SKG does not warn in the user guide not to use it for more than 30 minutes a day (or two 15-minute sessions). However, there is a long laundry list of important safeguards to consider before and during the use of the device, and it is warned that the neck massager is not waterproof. It also includes a 1,400mAh battery with a rated power of 14W and input of 5V, which is the standard for up to USB 3.0 power (although the Amperage is not mentioned at all). SKG does not say how long it takes to charge, but a quick calculation at 2A (if that is what it is) would mean it would take roughly 1.5 hrs to charge from empty. In any case, the light around the button changes from orange to green on a full charge. In addition, it is not possible to use the device while it is charging. On the right of the neck massager is the On/Off and modes button, which also acts as a joystick. You can operate all the modes directly from the power button, as well as the app, which I'll get into a bit later: Push up: Short press to adjust Heat levels On/Off button: long press Mode Switching: Short press (while in operation) ➕ Push left: increase Music volume ➖ push right: decrease Music volume Push down: Short-press to turn Music on or off The massager defaults to De-stress mode, and it is not stated anywhere if the neck massager has overheat protection. This time around, regarding heat, the only detail I could find is that it has "triple action soothing heat." The temperature stages are not listed anywhere in the paper manual, Amazon listing, or official website. The heat levels can be adjusted through the app or directly on the device using the joystick button. Usage There's also the SKG Health app, which makes using the massager far easier than feeling around for the button on the side of your neck. If the app is stopped, you are required to log in with a verification code over email, which I am not too pleased with, as this means it will only work that way for however long SKG decides to support it through said app. However, I was not able to get the app to connect to the OS500, which I have reported back to my contact. Bluetooth appeared to be working on the neck massager as it became available to pair with my phone, but the SKG app failed to discover it. Before I forget, there's also a switch next to the USB charging port to deactivate and activate the Voice Prompt, which, when enabled, audibly tells the user when switching intensities, modes, or connecting to the app and informs when the massages start and are completed. That said, on to my likes and dislikes, which are listed below. What I didn't like Unable to connect the Neck Massager to the app Use through the mobile app relies on continued support from SKG What I liked Can be used without the app Cordless use Light and comfortable to wear Heat is also quite comfortable Where to buy: According to the official website, this has an MSRP of $249.99, but is currently $50 (on Amazon). To sweeten the deal a bit more, there's also an in-page coupon that knocks a further $20 off the price. SKG PS700-2 Neck Massager for $179.99 on Amazon (was $199.99) Apply the in-page $20 off coupon for the final price of $179.99 Just like the back massager, this gets a confused thumbs up (due to the cost). However, I cannot rate it through app usage as it failed to connect. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

    • I just wish they would put more love into Virtual Desktops. There is just so much more they could do.
    • Sounds like you just skimmed over the review, I answer all those questions in it. Although I admit I did not test if DTS works over the headphones, when I get some time I will test this. My personal use case is more speaker-driven (I cover this in the review too).
