[Cancelled] Sarah Connor Chronicles (Terminator Series)

Recommended Posts

I just read that on i09, but here is what they say:

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly just reported from their sources on the life span of our beloved Sarah Connor Chronicles:

It's done," maintains a source close to the show. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks." Adds a network insider: "Consider it canceled."

But a Fox rep reiterates what they told EW, telling io9: "No decision has been made yet and we will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18."

So I am hoping for the best for this show. I want to see them back!

Yeah really atm its pure speculation about the end of the show we just have to wait and boy is it a long wait :(, there's still a good month to go!

Time for Ausiello's semi-annual SCC termination report. False again. (Remember "sets were destroyed" report? Now you know context, people).

CBR: To begin, the second season finale of ?Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles? aired the other night and had a mind-blowing ending that made the episode feel more like a series finale. Was that intentional?

Brian Austin Green: No. The third season is going to be incredible, if it happens. There were no intentions of this being a series finale. It was absolutely a season finale. There?s a plan where this can go and it?s so good. You know, I went on some of the Terminator sites just to see what fans were saying Friday night and there is a lot of confusion over it.

Rocky never said that. It was Yogi Berra, and without the Adrian.

But nice try, I guess.

What lol.. of course he says it. Probably without the Adrian but hey, it sounds better with it.

I suggest you watch the movies again, I guess.

You upset the Italian Stallion.

Mason 'The Line' Dixon: It's already over.

Rocky Balboa: There aint nothin' over till it's over.

Mason 'The Line' Dixon: Where's that from, the 80's?

Rocky Balboa: That's probably the 70's.

Uh, no. I said he doesn't state the line. I didn't say 'anything like that'.

You got me in that the line you posted was pretty close, and I didn't even think there would be a line that close.

Oh man, you never give up lol. Will this make you happy?

In the words of the great Rocky. "There aint nothin' over till it's over." :)

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
