Glad you like it. :)

@morca007

Menu button->File->Preferences->Display->Panels UI->in Panels UI->Layout->choose DAWXXX666_AVA_1.03.pui, then click Save All and that's it.

I have playcount on the list but it shows everwhere "? plays" ... what I have to change to make it work

EDIT: found the problem: setting for playcount mod: use PLAY COUNT, setting for playlist (with right mouse button on playlist): use %play counter% instead of %play count%

so I need to download another mod? A "play count mod" in order for this to work?

Sorry but it would be great to have a combined (stereo) peakmeter AND (mono) spectrum analyser,

I mean a spectrum analyser with both left and right channels (L in blue and R in red for instance).

spectrum_LR.bmp

what do you think?

Another example is :

post-230996-1182807413_thumb.jpg

I hope it gives you an idea...

It would be great to "see" how the music we listen has been mixed by sound engineers...

this is a basic idea but it could be interesting, what do you think?

Something else would be the possibility to mute one channel, I mean only listen to the left or the right channel

and so on...

I would be interested in doing that kind of things but how to start?

Dawxxx666 only creates the layout of the way Foobar looks with the components he's given. He cannot directly change the way the spectrum analyser looks or any other components.

..Just like how he can't add transparency support to either the analysers or peakmeters.

Each component has it's limits on its functions, and you'd have to find the original creator of each component if you want to suggest changes.

Found something even more odd :D

Normal mode: to see play count I need to use %play_counter% in item display on playlist

Small mode: to see play count I need to use %play_count%

same thing to different tags ? (playcount mod plugin is using PlayCount setting and my music is tagged with <PLAY COUNT> so I think normal mode is bad)

O_o

Yes I understand that we only have a dll for the spectrum analyzer...

but unfortunately I can not manage to find the e-mail of its creator... someone knows who is he ?

Hey,

I guess this is a noob-question but I still haven't figured it out how to get Various Artists -albums display properly. They show up as if the artist in the album's first track would be same for the whole album (it displays only track title in title-section, when they should show up like "Artist - title" in it. How to get it work right? In other words, for VA -albums should be: Artist = none (or VA) / Album = album / Title = "Artist - Title" and so on.

Anyways, once again, great job dawxxx666 & co.

Cheers,

Jari

If you fill the Tag "Album Artist" with "Various Artists":

va2mj8.th.png

that tag will be used for grouping and the "Artist Name" of the track will be shown in the playlist:

vapw9.th.jpg

MiDiAN

... so you can switch it off in settings :D

BTW: Check out new version of Lyrics panel component

Download

that new version (beta 5) makes my foobar crash as soon as it click on the lyrics panel. I switched back to the earlier version (beta 4).

i have a newb question:

im using the album art downloader and i have it set to save my images to C:\Program Files\foobar2000\Covers under %artist% - %album%.%extension%

so i wanted to change where foobar retrieves my album art from

where/how do i change this?

thanks in advance

reverting to the beta 4 helped out, thanks :)

nice work with the config !

only one thing that bothers me is that when the playlist doesn't need the scroll bar and that it is set to hidden, it gets hard to read the time for each song because it's moved to the right...

is there a way to fix that ?

    • You're absolutely right! No reason in hell these should be on the road!
    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
