UBO Lite doesn't have custom filters and can't block requests which is a dealbreaker for me. Did you know you can even remove some websites' paywalls with MV2 UBO?
I suspect because in terms of operation, Windows 7 onwards has done everything a 'normal' user wants there aren't any tangible befits . It opens apps, it's fast enough.
However, the IT landscape is changing and will continue to do so - so keeping up to date with the security side of things is the tangible benefit.
Banks didn't use to require MFA to access their platforms, the landscape changed and now they do, and it's not optional.
The functionality of the platform hasn't changed and my requirements haven't changed - all I want to do is move money around accounts and pay people, but now I have to do MFA before I'm allowed to do so, not because the banks thought it would be fun, but because the world changed.
