Plus if one were to recall- In a Christmas 2008 episode set back "The next doctor" When he reveals the how the guy got the memories from the Cybermen data capsule if you could doctors then you get 10 (with the 11th being his regeneration) it would make sense that the Cybermen would have a record of all his incarnations.

Matt Smith has confirmed that he will continue to play the Eleventh Doctor in Series 8.

In an interview from Saturday?s edition of The Sun?s TV Magazine, Smith says: ?I?m on a break for a couple of months while I?m in Detroit making How To Catch A Monster.?

?We come back and shoot the Christmas special over the summer, then we go on to the next series, which will either start filming at the end of this year or at the start of 2014.?

Pretty sure David Tennant said he didn't plan on quitting anytime soon then announced he was quitting later on.

Hes probably saying it as misdirection, if he says hes quitting then we know he will regenerate in 50th anniversary.

Not if he's doing the Christmas special?, he could regen there

You know how that one could have fit in-- he sort of already said- Before I went under the name of The Doctor- So this could have been pre- 1st Regeneration Which would have made him prior to him turning into Grandfather - where he went by his Galifraian name. So this one could have been the one where he was a boy then grew up fought in a time war- then re-generated into the old man we first saw... you know how time works. Probably fought and then left forced a regeneration and stole a TARDIS

      TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.

      Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
