[Official] Doctor Who Thread

Recommended Posts

In pretty much the past week I've gone through all seven series again - when watching on the TV I would miss the occasional episode. Talk about a roller coaster of a ride!

Come on, November. I can't wait for this!

The misses has pretty much banned me from re-watching Dr Who... she caught on to my "Oh but I haven't seen this one before" pertty quickly :(

I'm fortunate. My girlfriend hasn't seen Doctor Who before, but given my ranting and raving in the past couple of weeks she's said that she needs to sit down and give it a watch. I just need to get her to the third series, and I reckon she'll get hooked. That's saying nothing against Christopher Eccleston, but story-wise it took some time before the writers found their feet.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, on one hand its showing off what this little island can do, showing that as small as we may be we have created something that is watched all over the world. However at the same time, this show is made possible by the people of this little island paying their license fee's, we kinda deserve to get this first! I don't think I would have this opinion of I could just see that damn trailer they showed at Comic Con!!!!

    • Dude get a clue, LTSC is Enterprise, not even legal for consumers, and ESU is not mainstream support cycle, just an extended security updates period.
    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.
