Just went on Gamespot and got my code instantly, Eurogamer are taking ages

Threads merged.

No need to start a separate thread when we are constantly talking about it in this one.

Well, Gamespot didn't do anything either.

You all got tokens from Gamespot? All I got was ANOTHER Activision activation code.

eh i signed up on gamespot just for the hell of it & boom i got a key/token right away so i got a extra key

so far gamespot is the fastest

What the ****. Am I doing something wrong?

I signed up on Gamespot, and they've sent me an activation code, which I entered at http://www.cod4beta.co.uk/.

I then received an e-mail saying:

Congratulations, you have successfully registered to participate in the UK and Ireland public multiplayer BETA for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

We are receiving huge demand from gamers in the UK and Ireland to participate. A title update is currently in progress which means BETA tokens for registrants in the UK and Ireland will start being sent out on Monday 10th September.

BETA tokens will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis and we will be back in touch as soon as we can to provide you with your unique BETA Token code.

ARGH!

create a account on gamespot if you dont have 1 click go into prefs & ad your gamer tag then click on the call of duty banner make sure your gamer tag is listed then click on the button that said do you agree then hit submit then youll get your key right after you hit submit

GameSpot.com will be giving US and Canadian gamers another chance to join the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Xbox 360 Multiplayer Public Beta.

The Token Codes will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis beginning Monday, September, 10th. GameSpot.com will be issuing out tokens in batches every day that week, so keep trying if you don?t get in on Monday!

I quoted this a few pages back, and I'll do it again. It isn't US only. It's US and Canadian only but some UK users received beta keys. Unofficially, it's open to the UK as well. Get your tokens people. NOTE: You will get your beta key instantly provided that you have a Gamespot account with a gamertag set.b>

Out of codes. Awesome.

They will have the same ammount to give out tomorrow. Just try again closer to 9am tomorrow and you will get one no problem. Of course the quoata for the day is going to be used up when you are trying like 4 hours after they opened it up.
