Halo 03 |News & General| OFFICIAL

I have heard that when you play campaign on legendary you get a different ending than the one floating around on the internet.

I wouldn't probably go out and say that until after the release date has arrived.

I'll be playing on Legendary the first time through though.

Not many people know about the SP so far but apprently, someone knows enough to give it one star before anyone posts... I think someone hates you DL. :p

no, they just hate 360 and/or halo 3, thats about to CRUSH the competition :D

thats why we rate the thread 5/5 out of spite of the bashers :)

Not a leak its a legit copy (if you were implying piracy). Some people were lucky enough to get it early. Microsoft has already stated some stores sold it early...

What I was trying to get at though was that its most likely true as to what I said.

Well just checked my bank account and yay gameplay have taken the money out that means i got a Legendary Edition!

The new vidoc has made me so excited now it just looks so cool and forge looks like total fun, if you suck at mp you can just be the little orb and drop tanks and stuff on people instead!

GAME backs Halo 3 with 150 midnight openings

Matt Martin 10:14 (BST) 21/09/2007

Retailer expecting thousands to collect pre-orders

High Street retailer GAME is due to open 150 stores at midnight for the launch of Halo 3 next week.

The retailer expects thousands of customers to queue for their pre-ordered game, and will also be opening stores early on the morning of September 26.

"Halo 3 will be a huge event in towns throughout the UK, so we?re pulling out all the stops to help our customers start playing it as soon as humanly possible," said Robert Quinn, operations director at GAME.

"Over 800 GAME staff will be on duty at midnight to serve customers and keep the shelves full.

"Halo 3 is hotly anticipated by thousands of customers who have reserved it months in advance, and we are working flat out to make sure our customers are first to get the products they want," he added.

Earlier this week Microsoft revealed that it would be hosting the UK's official Halo 3 launch at London's iMax Cinema, complete with celebrities, competitions and screenings.

Oww, Play havent taken payment at all and i guess they won't until Monday now so i won't know if i got in or not.

However Virgin still haven't cancelled my order with them which i did Monday, just says "Cancellation Requested". They better sort it out because i don't want two LE Editons!

If you get two, just sell it on eBay :p You'll make a tonne surely (Y)

Yeah i could do but it wasn't the plan of course! Still i am sure once they sort though all the orders, Virgin will see my cancel request and hopefully act on it. Come on Play! Give me the email nofitication now to day i got one!!!

I should have ordered on gameplay with you guys.

PiracyX, the reason we have been checking our accounts is because we got an email the other day saying gameplay will process the orders early, that's why we've been checking to make sure everything is alright. Play.com will probably take payment the day they send it out, like gameplay usually do.

Sad thing though is that play are usually awful with shipping so you might not even receive on the games release day, sometimes play pull through and you get the game on the day or early.

    • Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies. For now, this is more like a lobbying effort rather than a confirmed supply deal. There's no official statement from either of the parties. What is clearer, though, is the pressure behind such a request. AI demand has certainly made hardware a bottleneck, and companies are trying everything they can to bring things back to normal, even if that means making politically sensitive choices. • I did test it a month or so back, but ... the results I expect to be on the first page are not there.
    • Neowin is saying these are good prices? Thats crazy. As others have said they are just ######. Time for big tech to bring down the prices for real not this fake crap.
    • The iFlyTek AINote 2 is among the thinnest E-Ink tablets. It has an EMR stylus, a built-in fingerprint reader, and plenty of built-in AI features. You had me until "and plenty of built-in AI features." That and any company that still does the iProduct naming trope is an immediate pass. It suggests the company isn't very imaginative or creative and is trying to piggyback off another company's success. Extremely lame. Also kind of expensive. Better choices at lower prices out there.
    • These are not "great" prices... just "less awful". Apparently "Those who forget the past are doomed to pay higher prices and think they've won."
