So we think we know 5 of the 6 (if Aaron counts). I've just read a news article from the producers saying that Michael is coming back on the show. Does this make him the 6th survivor? Last time we saw him was on a boat on a heading to leave the island with Walt.

The other TWO Oceanic 6 survivors was revealed.... (I mean from Spoilers OF COURSE)

It's Sun & Jin

Oh I heard about this its a mission to the looking glass except they have both had their feet covered in cement and dropped into the ocean.

Wow, you really hate Rose and Bernard  I love them personally, they're not favorites by any means, but they certainly aren't on my hate list as is yours. They certainly don't compare to Nikki/Paulo or whatever the hell their names are.

Dude, NOT on the show of course, but via Spoilers it was.

Yep I revealed that in a spoiler a long time back just before the season started and it was a credible source so its 99% true it was right about Sayid and Hurley

Hurmoth - I hated them more granted but they are dead, I just hated their episode I think it was crap and ruined the season, but then it got better after that episode so the season was saved.

If he survived the boat ride off the island, then wouldn't he be one of the 6?

No, because he hasn't made it "off the island". We don't know that he is back on the mainland, and most likely he isn't.

What I'd find funny is if we find out that the "boat" that Naomi and gang came in on had captured Michael/Walt. It wouldn't surprise me if they threw that in there. Seriously though, there's no way that small boat that Michael/Walt took out of there could reach any mainland, especially the US before running out of fuel.

why on earth would he take the boat directly to the US? specially when he doesn't even know where on the planet he is!

They are in the pacific. Just head Northeast and you will hit either the US or Mexico. You can use the sun to help guide you. Just point the boat to the left of the rising sun and you are good to go.

why on earth would he take the boat directly to the US? specially when he doesn't even know where on the planet he is!

I was using that as an example. It doesn't really matter where he's headed, there's no way that little boat has enough fuel to get to any type of mainland. That was my point.

I imagine the board has some equipment to help with guidance. Otherwise, what was the point of Ben telling him to stay on a specific baring?

Once he got up to speed, he could have turned off the engine and coasted. And once he got out into the prevailing currents, it would bring them through the shipping channels (boats to rescue them) and right to the US.

Well now we know that she didn't have a kid with Sawyer so he probably isn't the "him" she was referring to but mostly likely it was Aaron. So I guess that kinda also reduces that chances that he is one of the 6.

She was probably referring to her Lawyer not likeing it.

Cody

What she says is something to the affect of, "I have to go, he'll be wondering where I am." The he is Aaron. I don't think it is someone she is romantically involved with, I think he is Aaron.

Doubt it. The flash forward when Jack and Kate met at the airport looks to be set some time in the future, after her trial had finished.

She could have been referring to her probation officer, but my guess would be Aaron.

The only thing that makes sense is for it to be Aaron. The trial is over and she is on a 10 year probation. The lawyer and probation office shouldn't care who she talks to or becomes involved with. Obviously Kate still has some feelings for Jack, and Jack to Kate, evidenced by the finale where they almost shared a kiss (which Kate looked as if she wanted) and by her wanting to have Jack come over to her place.

Carrie in Columbus, Ohio: After that awful Kate-Sawyer fight in last week's Lost, I felt like I did when Ross and Rachel broke up for the first time in Friends. Angst is great, especially between Kate and Sawyer, but can you tell us if there's any chance they'll make up or at least share some scenes in upcoming episodes?

Sawyer and Kate are totally on a break for at least episodes five and six. No word yet on if during said break Sawyer sleeps with the girl from the copy place. That said, Skaters, don't tune out yet. From what I've heard, even sans Skate, eps five and six are absolute barn burners.

Diana in Phoenix: Anything on Juliet from Lost?

Her upcoming flashback ep is entirely located on the Island. And yet it guest stars Alan Dale as Charles Widmore. That's what Arsenio would call a thing that makes you go hmmm...

David in Dallas: Do you have anything on my favorite Other: Juliet?

She's going on a little field trip to the Orchid Station. As in the station unveiled this summer at Comic-Con, with the "highly volatile and potentially dangerous" research?and them creepy numbered bunnies. I'm also hearing something about a field of skeletons...

Benny in El Paso, Texas: Do you have any scoop on Jacket in Juliet's episode? Thanks!

I'm told she's the one who initiates the kiss. Tramp! Kidding. Love her.

Keeping Awake in Montclair, New Jersey: How will Ken Leung's New York stage commitment affect Lost? Is he already off the show?

I suspect an understudy for that play might be getting his big shot sometime soon. Ken's people didn't have an official restart date for Lost, so they've been going ahead with other jobs, but Ken's contracted through the season to play regular character Miles, so don't assume Locke's breakfast of champions did him in, at least not yet. Meanwhile, our girl Gina Serpe hit the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, and Fisher Stevens (Minkowski, the guy tied to the bed in this week's Lost previews) said he would be returning to Hawaii next week to resume filming his role on Lost. (Join me in a Snoopyx dance joy at the news that Lost is back in front of the cameras soon!)

Orchid Station!!!

Thought that station will come up in that episode, remembering seeing those set pictures on Dark's site, was the Orchid logo

Yeah I remember that, I wonder if the skeletons are all the dead test subjects

Yep I revealed that in a spoiler a long time back just before the season started and it was a credible source so its 99% true it was right about Sayid and Hurley

Yup usually with spoilers that has been proven accurate I will believe it. There is also Foreshadowing in last episode too, like those two are talking about off the island Life!

The question remains, do they mean absolutely everything?

Or can the Fate change? The flashFORWARD may just be what their future life could been, but maybe it will change depends on what they do now

No i think they said what we see will happen, pretty sure.

    • Who is paying for this 30x scale-up? Its sounds expensive.
    • Millions of users to benefit from Windows 11's new performance boost on Adobe Photoshop by Sayan Sen Despite the advent of AI-generated imagery, Adobe's Photoshop remains one of the most popular tools on this planet. Adobe does not have a publicly reported total user count but it's probably not wrong to assume there are millions. As of 2025, Adobe Creative Cloud has had approximately 41 million paid subscribers, many of whom likely use Photoshop. In addition, more than 166,000 companies worldwide are apparently also using the app. These figures are according to a very recent report by SQ Magazine. Out of them, it is fair to assume that many are probably running Windows. As such, there is good news for these users as Microsoft has announced Photoshop is getting a big 20% performance boost on x86-64 (AMD64) systems and a 13% bump-up on Arm devices. This is definitely great news for them as many have complained about the slow performance and general sluggishness of Photoshop on Windows 11 ever since the advent of the latter back in 2021. If you are wondering how Microsoft managed to do this, the answer lies in a combination of compiler-level optimizations and a technology called Sample Profile Guided Optimization (SPGO). According to Microsoft, Adobe worked closely with the company’s Visual C++ team and adopted the latest MSVC toolchain enhancements together with SPGO to squeeze more performance out of Photoshop’s CPU-bound workloads. Unlike traditional Profile Guided Optimization (PGO), which requires developers to create special instrumented builds and run lengthy training workloads, SPGO gathers performance data directly from optimized release binaries. This means Adobe could collect real-world usage information which gives a major advantage to this technique, as companies could leverage data collected from actual customer workloads rather than only relying on synthetic benchmark runs. In theory, this should allow optimizations to better reflect how users interact with software in the real world. Thanks to this, there are improvements to code layout, function inlining, hot-and-cold code separation, and other low-level tweaks that help processors execute instructions more efficiently. Essentially the compiler is better able to identify “hot” code paths, those which are most frequently executed, and optimize them accordingly.
    • "The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months¨ I'd prefer to see the lowest price in over a year
    • Glad these prices are starting to come down, but that is still crazy. I bought the 2TB 9100 Pro (slightly more expensive version with PCIe 5.0) last year for $240.
    • The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months by Sayan Sen Yesterday, we covered a really good deal wherein you can get a 4TB TeamGroup T-FORCE G50 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD for a low price of just $400 with a special discount coupon. That's just $100 per TB, making it a very good offer during these hard times. The deal is still live, so you can check it out in its dedicated article here if you do not want to miss out. Meanwhile, if you don't have that kind of budget but still wish to buy an SSD for a good price, the 2TB variant of the TeamGroup SSD at $280 its lowest price in over three months. Meanwhile, those seeking 2TB but faster performance can check out Samsung's 990 PRO, which has hit the lowest price also in the last quarter or so, as it's on sale for $370 (purchase links under the specs table down below). Thus, you want a faster drive, get the 990 Pro, or you want more capacity, grab the TeamGroup 4TB linked in the first para. The 990 PRO is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and still one of the fastest drives available today for under $500. Speaking of fast, sequential reads and writes are rated at 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s, respectively. The random throughputs for reads and writes are 1400K IOPS and 1550K IOPS, respectively. The 990 PRO is based on Samsung's 7th Gen V-NAND flash, and it too is TLC. It packs 2 gigs of LPDDR4 DRAM cache, which helps the random performance. The endurance rating for this is 1200 TBW (terabytes written), which should be sufficient for most users. The Samsung 990 PRO is compatible with the PlayStation 5, but if you are going to use the 990 PRO on a PC, check out the Samsung Magician app that lets you track your drive's health, update its firmware, customize various settings, and more.
