Anyone notice the date? Dec. 24, 2004. Only two days until the Indonesian earthquake. I wonder if that'll play a factor in the show?

I remember reading somewhere about it, they dropped a hint about it, would be amazing if it did come into play.

What a episode! Very confusing, but cleared up towards the end. Constant part was very well done!

Also i got the Lost game today!!! Will play it over the weekend.

Almost all of the character names are taken from somewhere else.

For instance, take Locke. However, I'm pretty confident that the 'Shepard' part of Jack's name was what they wanted to emphasize, especially considering that Jack was to die in the pilot originally. He would have been the person to 'lead the flock' onto the island, and would have died with that purpose fulfilled.

Wasn't the Point.

It was the kind of story that Frequency was about is sort of Similar to Lost!

Uh, Frequency and Lost are nothing alike. At all.

I remember John Locke is from a book or a famous person I can't fully remember.

He was a philosopher, politician, and writer. He wrote a few famous things, but his most famous line was that everyone had a right to 'life, liberty, and property'. This was later taken and changed for the Declaration of Independence to 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness'

He has more hair then locke

Haha! Yeah i remember reading that ages ago, its a good read.

Well i'm a bit annoyed that my laptop can't play the Lost game, turns out my graphics card is too low on my laptop and its just a black screen when you begin the game itself :/ Oh well, have to wait 2 weeks until i can take it home and install it on my PC and play it.

Via Domus was a bit rubbish, well the graphics, presentation and story etc were all good but the gameplay itself was quite rubbish to compared to the callibre PC gamers have been used to recently (TF2, Crysis, CoD4 etc) - the characters in Via Domus move very oddly and it's pretty much only at home on a console joypad. What I'm saying is it did not feel at home on the PC

You thought it was going to be equal to the top games of the year?

Thats why you think it was bad.

Its meant to be a short game that EVERYONE can play that shows you more of the Lost universe. Not a GOTY candidate.

A high profile tv show should be expected to have a decent game!

Most movie to game adaptations are terrible. The only recent TV show to game adaptation that comes to mind is CSI, and you can't tell me that was any good.

I would put this Lost game on the level of the 24 game from a couple years ago. Good for fans, but just an average game.

    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
