I thought only 7 episodes were going to air and then the break because episode 7 has a finale type finish (it closes out a story arc) and episode 8 starts a new arc?

From what I understood was the 8 episodes would run with 8 being the "finale" that was during the strike.

Yes thats what i read. Wasn't that while back.

Yes, but the strike is over and they're able to get more episodes out, so things have changed. What we can be sure of is that we're getting 13, not 8, episodes.

Yeah I read the spoilers all the way to episode 8 so that must of been the finale, who cares anyway in April new Lost!

Yes thats what i read. Wasn't that while back.

they were going to do that...but they decided they wanted it to premiere on the same day as Grey's, and i'm assuming end at the same time as well, so they moved 8 back to its original airing time and then we will have the break....

just a few hours to go, its midnight here so i guess ill be up till i finish watching it :(

Try 24 hours unless your Desmond.

Anyway Dark Ufo has this weeks Lost Podcast 2 days early! (which means there are spoilers a plenty as they talking about 4.05)

Try 24 hours unless your Desmond.

Cusick spills 'Lost' clues on Desmond, flashbacks, more

Flashbacks are so ? in the past. ABC's Lost (tonight, 9 p.m. ET/PT) is now all about flash-forwards. But then there is Desmond, whose scenes tonight are something else entirely. Henry Ian Cusick, 40, previews tonight's episode with USA TODAY.

Q: So is Desmond's episode tonight a flash-forward or flashback?

A: It's, uh ? to be honest, it's neither. It's more in line with those time-travel flashes before his eyes. A lot of people either love the time-travel element or hate it.

Q: The last time we saw Desmond, he and Sayid were being taken by helicopter to the freighter, but it had been taking an unusually long time to arrive. What's up with that?

A: There's a reason for that, and you'll find that out in this episode. And you'll find out why it's so difficult to get to the island.

Q: With whom do we see Desmond interact?

A: You will see (Desmond's love) Penny and her father, Charles Widmore. You will also see Desmond back in the military. And you'll also meet a whole new bunch of guys on the freighter, who have been a whole lot of fun to work with.

Q: What was it like for you and Naveen Andrews (Sayid) working on that freighter out in the middle of the ocean?

A: We filmed off Barber's Point (the west coast of Oahu) ? about 10 to 15 minutes offshore. Once you're there, you're stuck on the boat, so we all had to find places to sleep and hide to be out of the shots. We had days and days being on that freighter and had a few night shoots as well. Because Naveen and I are both from the U.K., we had a lot of things to talk about ? like characters from crappy old TV shows from our childhoods.

Q: We are learning one by one who make up the Oceanic Six, so far revealed to be Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Kate and maybe (the show's not confirming) baby Aaron. Since Desmond was never on Flight 815, can we assume he does not turn out to be one of the six?

A: That's what all of us were trying to figure out when we were receiving the scripts. I think it suddenly dawned on us that you had to be an original passenger on the plane that went down to be an Oceanic Six.

Q: So tell us. Who is Ben's man on the freighter?

A: You find out, but not for a few episodes.

Found this snippet over at Dark's site, posted in the rumours section.

What do you think?

I have recently been part of a media promotion/seminar at a university in west London, UK. A member of the LOST production team was present (female) and she answered questions from the floor. My question referred to Hurley and the theory that he is imagining everything. The production team member shot this theory down immediately, although she did indicate that everything we (the audience) believe was Hurley's imagination is not necessarily the case. She made a clear reference to Dave, who apparently will appear in a Michael flashback, as Michael and Walt sail away from the Island and find Dave floating half-dead in the water. Apparently, Dave also appears in a Hurley flashforward, and we are supposed to believe he is mad again. Only it will be revealed that he is alive and well. Please don't shoot the messenger. If I get more info I will inform you.

That would be very interesting...

^ I'm think maybe that should be in spoiler tags since it does contain information regarding an upcoming episode.

If its on the rumours site then its probably not spoilers because half of them are wrong and I hope that isn't true.

So has anyone else finished Via Domus yet?

It certainly has a Lost-worthy WTF?!?!??!? ending

Too bad it is so sort, but it is awesome going through all these areas that you we could have seen more of.

I was gonna get it but in the end thought against it...whats the ending then? or is it confusing...lol

What?! You have it already? I get mine tomorrow hopefully

I was gonna get it but in the end thought against it...whats the ending then? or is it confusing...lol

I would say its worth the $30 for the PC version, but not the $60 for the PS3/X360 versions.

Well the ending is like this: (don't read if you are going to play and want to enjoy it yourself)

You play a photojournalist that has amnesia. During the game, you get flashes of your past that progress the story and function as the flashbacks.

Now, when you get to the end, you remember everything, including why you were running from Australia. Which is that you were responsible for a woman's death, a former lover of yours (named Lisa) that is now a competing journalist. You didn't kill her, but you gave her up in order to get the story.

You figure this all out, and Juliet tells you that there is a boat (conveniently called the Via Domus) that is not far away. The last part of the action is to run to the boat and get on it. For some reason, Locke is there and lets you leave the island 'because it is your path'.

So you leave the island on the boat, and before you get too far ...

(and heres the WTF-worthy part)

... you hear some noises, a 'mayday' signal, what sounds like the implosion of the hatch, and you look up. You see 815 breaking up!!!! and then your memory flashes. You are suddenly back on the beach right after the crash, with Lisa standing over you saying 'Elliot, we made it! We're alive!'

In case I wasn't clear, Lisa was killed in Sydney and was never on the plane during the action, but at the end she was, somehow.

Just saw last week's. Great stuff. This is why I love this show.

I think you missed a lot then:

- Miles isn't in it for 'the cause', hes in it for himself

- Ben can still manipulate Locke

- the helicopter didn't make it to the boat

- the people on the boat didn't know 815 was there until the call

- the whole Kate-Sawyer situation

There are other small points that I'm forgetting at the moment

What if that's what they want Jack & them to believe. What if Sayid is held hostage.
