Oh yeah, great episode. Nice to see Simon Rhee (shopkeeper) get a small role on the show.

I've yet to really find a bad episode on Lost.

As for a bad episode of lost...lets just say Rose and Bernards wasn't that interesting and Nikki and Paulo ones are the only ones I have never seen.

'Expose' wasn't nearly as bad as some make it seem, but it certainly was the worst episode of Lost. Neither of them were believable, and letting them carry an entire episode was a bad idea. Not to mention the terrible acting that ensued. The best part was the the bad acting that was purposely bad from the filming of the show with Billy Dee Williams was basically the same as the rest of their acting for the rest of the show.

At least Rose and Bernard are average actors at worst.

When he was talking to Jin I thought no get off the screen! lets go see the freighter but all credit to him he is alright when Rose isn't around.

You guys are just SO Nitpicky it's Unreasonable! I wouldn't say Nikki is a Horrible actress, but she is not great like Jack, Kate, Locke,etc for sure.

As I said in Smallville thread, One character doesn't make the whole show bad.

The girl who played Nikki is not hot. She's not ugly of course, but definitely not hot.

Regardless, I do not watch TV shows and films based on the hottest of an actress. I watched them based on the storyline and the abilities of an actor. I'll even watch a show or film that I'm not interested in based on a particular actor's ability (i.e. No Country for Old Men doesn't interest me, but I plan on seeing it on DVD based on the strong performances in the film).

I loved Veronica Mars because of the quirkyness of the show and yes the added addition is Kristin Bell.

No one said that Nikki ruined the entire show. They said 'Expose' was a bad episode. It was. And her and Paolo were the main characters of that episode. The rest of the cast didn't appear in it as much as those two did. So yes, Expose and Bionic Woman are similar in that regard, that the main character (for the series for BW and the single episode for Expose) were hot females, but the story and acting was bad.

I never anticipate any shows to have great episodes All the time. If it's Overwhelming great, then it's Good enough!

And she had to die because the vast majority of the fans hated the character and it offered nothing to storyline. That character and Paulo were not part of the Lost universe, they were adding for unknown reasons that didn't matter. They were an afterthought.

Why does she deserve to live? Because she's hot? That's not a good reason at all. And if you're watching the show just because of the females on the show being hot, watch Survivor or some stupid show like that, that doesn't have a storyline and doesn't require the females to be hot.

I agree, I watch LOST because after each episode I am asking even more questions than before! I just want to find out the answer to all my questions!

But I will admit with Jedi that she is hot, maybe not in that picture as she has the odd lip thing going on, but she is a very attrictive girl :)

I am sorry, but that's such a narrow way of looking at things!

First of all, I want to make Absolutely CLEAR that I don't just watch the show because of Hot females! I certainly LOVE Smart shows that has Great story and rich characters! However, no matter what, Hot females HELPS! I am a Red-blooded Male After ALL! :D

As I said, you are bound to run into characters/people that just don't interest you whether on a show or even in real life (I probably DO NOT interest you much myself, perhaps if you meet ME IRL) That's the way things are.... people are Different and wouldn't necessarily interest each other, period.

That means they HAVE to die? Is Death/Life really that Valueless, even if it's a fiction show?

They were added for no reason, an afterthought. They weren't added to move the story forward, the writers were clearly trying something new by adding characters to the foreground that were supposedly in the background the entire time, which they weren't and that made Paulo and Nikki's story arc stupid and pointless. Those characters weren't needed at all. Period, plain and simple. They added nothing to the story.

You still didn't answer my question: Why does she deserve to live? What value did she or Paulo add to the story to make them a main character on the same level as Kate, Jack, etc? How come you're only mentioning Nikki and not Paulo considering he died at the same time Nikki did? Could it be because he's not a female?

I think it's interesting to see other characters on the Island. Who they are? What their life was before the island? Are there employees at Best Buy? Target? Are there artists? singers?

Hell, even if a character like Mariah Carey I would Watch it! :p

What they do MAYBE Boring, but doesn't mean an episode or two shouldn't explore them! You really CAN'T expect everybody's life/story interesting to you!

The CONSTANT "I WANT A++ (Quality, Awesome) episode" all the time Mentality here really I don't get it!

You ALL Hate Nikki (And Yes Paulo) So much (Want them Dead) before the writers could have used them for a Bigger purpose they give up because of the Hate!

YES, they are Minor characters, but they don't deserve to die or not seen on the show either!
