The producers have a massive list of unanswered questions, apparently now and again they will check that list and see if they can answer questions from it...

Episode 4.12 - There's No Place Like Home (Part 1) - Promotional Photos

I don't understand. Why would they put them in if it has nothing to do with the big picture? What's the point?

Well thats what i heard from an interview recently. Maybe they are linked to the big picture somehow, i don't know. Anyways...

Episode 4.12 - There's No Place Like Home (Part 1) - 3 More Sneak Peeks

Confirmed that the logo from the "Secondary Protocol" sheet and the logo from Ben's jacket in his flashforward is the Orchid station logo.

This is going to be a sick episode.

Wow is Dan wants to leave then something big is planned!

Makes you think, how does he know so much. He must of been at the island before?! Time travelling like Desmond

Or its the fact that Widmore has given the crew all the information they need about Dharma and the Islands history

Or its the fact that Widmore has given the crew all the information they need about Dharma and the Islands history

Course! Forgetting that Charles Widmore has to be Dharma, he must of knew the Orchid etc. So Orchid can "move the island" because Ben, Hurley and Locke are going to it. But what we know about it and from Daniels journel, that its a time travel space thing. So...is the location of the island like a wormhole??!!

Yeah I know, it will be awesome if we find out some more origins about Dharma

Good news: Episode 4x12 - Sneak Peek 7

Bad news. Lostfan108 is back! This is going to be a painful 2 weeks now, without trying to read his spoilers.

MAJOR SPOILERS from Lostfan108: Episode 4.12 - Part 1 - Read at your own risk

Please, if you are going to read this, please give a warning if your going to mention this at all in this thread. I am not going to do what i did last year and glance at these and regret it when watching the episode. I am going spoiler free for a change.

For the people who don't know who Lostfan108 is:

Lostfan108 is an anonymous spoiler tipster, who single handedly spoiled the last two episodes of Season 3 of Lost by leaking information to Dark UFO's spoiler website. In a poll that DarkUFO ran, the results to withhold lostfan108's spoilers or to show all of them were almost dead even, 51-49 in favor of the spoilers revealed. From what most users could tell, there was even a struggle for DarkUFO to post the spoilers, but in the end released them in bits and pieces, spanning the week before the finale.

This leak had a major impact on the Lost writing team, causing them to clamp down and enter a period of "radio silence" with regards to how much they would give away to fans in future.

Last time i read a little of the finale spoilers and was kinda gutted. This year has been so good, i am not going to bother reading the finale spoilers.

Yeah, in the season 3 thread, i posted that i didn't read them, but i honestly did glance at them. I read that Walt would return where Locke was in the Dharma pit, read that is was a flashforward and which people died in the finale.

Wonder what the producers and ABC are going to do again when they find out that the episode main points have been leaked :/

so who are the people that can't die?Michael, obviously. Widmore? Ben? Locke? all of the Six?

bear with me as i tend to watch the episodes drinking fairly heavily!!

I almost preferred watching Lost after its all finished, so that I can watch it in bursts of three episodes (or more ;)) over a week or so ==> helps with losing track of things...

Hopefully they start firing people. The people who leak this kind of information aren't that important to the show (i.e. lighting crew, snack crew, stand-ins, etc.). The cast like Matthew Fox and crew (i.e. the directors, producers, etc.) are not going to leak this stuff, they love the show to much to ruin it for the audience IMO.

full episode leaks most likely come from someone in editing, as they are the only ones to see the show in it's proper order before airing.

I got as far as it asking "Are you sure" and I couldn't bring myself to go forward. I read season 3's spoiler and once it was obvious that everything was correct, it kind of ruined it for me. Before I used to enjoy reading spoilers to see how they were wrong, but after that, I've had to reduce my spoiler reading to keep the show interesting.

    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.

    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
    • Interesting read. I knew the adware was quite controversial at the time, however never realised to the point The Guardian wrote an article about Patchou. I just said no and enjoyed his creation, I’d probably be a lot more wary of something like that today though.
