Well the first taste of Neowin I got was when I was searching for a way to patch the uxtheme.dll (if that's what it was called). I was looking into trying to make my crappy XP laptop look and feel like a Mac, and I think I stumbled on this site whilst searching for the patch. Ironically, I only signed up when I had my new Mac, and I've been in and out most of the time. Nowadays, I mostly visit TUAW and MacTalk, with occasional visits to Neowin to see what the other companies (Microsoft, Opera, etc.) are up to.

I found the forum a couple of different times, but I only registered now.

I decided to sign up when I searched RocketDock forums on Google. This site was the first result, and I kinda liked the look of it.

A friend told me. I'm bored at work, and one thing I love to do is find **** on the net, and introduce it to folks, and see the rise I get. I try to always get a good rise of course, but it's fun to find things on other boards, share them with other groups...and basically help stuff to get around.

You'll find one thing I love to post is cool inventions. In fact, I'm hopefully starting a blog one day that would feature just that, as that is where my real passion lies. Thanks for letting me in. Hopefully I'll share some good stuff! Just found the coolest invention ever can't wait to share it!

i registered after somebody posted a link to one of my YouTube videos and made fun of it, and later put the link to the thread in front of me.

that thread is deleted now, thanks god

i realized what a great place Neowin was, in between sending and reading hatemail via PM, so i forgot about that idiot and started posting as if i just dropped in from Google

Hi my name is teddy and I'm from Lebanon...

i had installed the new Microsoft OS and installed Firefox as it is my favorite web browser

i noticed that Firefox hadn't the tab preview implemented yet so i googled about that topic

to find out more about it and i ended up in these forums ....

i liked the conversations i read in here.

there seems to be a lot of nice people.

so i decided this is a good place to share and get knowledge .... and i ended up registering.

So....ummm....yeah .... that's it.

It makes it easy to organize, find, and play music files on your computer, on portable devices, and on the Web. • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
