Is it just me or is none of this really all that interesting? and well kinda a rip... especially the $20 ipod update... I just bought my ipod the day before chirstmas now I have to cough up $20 for the "new" apps... bs if you ask me...

Then don't buy it. No one is forcing you too? You spend hundreds of $$$ on an iPod yet you're complaining about $20?

Nice $ grabbing strategy if you ask me. They sell tons of Touches on Xmas. Now they want more to buy, so they're including all these apps, which I think the touch should already have, just so they can sell even more.

I hate getting screwed by Apple.

Jesus, to rent in HD its $1.00 more for each. $5.00 to watch a movie for one day max? No thanks.

I'm still confused about that. Bad wording

"Watch instantly! In less than 30s..." it streams. "The rules -- you have 30 days to start watching it, and once you start you have 24 hours to watch and finish it. As many times as you want. You can transfer films to another device in the middle -- transfer to your iPod and watch the rest on the iPod on your flight."

Thats the point though, I dished out couple hundred for a product, only to expect myself to have to pay more for apps "that are not even new".

Apple TV looks to crush Blockbuster/Netflix now. $5 HD rentals is pretty good.
Not for only 24 hours it isn't. I love Apple, but that is seriously bad.

Netflix, you keep as long as you want beats Apple, pay $5 and you keep for 24 hours (once you've started watching the film).

Then don't buy it. No one is forcing you too? You spend hundreds of $$ on an iPod yet you're complaining about $20?

well it still should be free.....

it's not bad for HD quality, but i think most people will use it to stream stuff from their mac/pc

yeah but is it full 1080?

Haha, Apple sure has you right where they want you huh? The point is exactly that, he just spend hundreds of dollars on an iPod, and now he has to pay $20 more for some simple features? Apple has always been the masters of getting a few more dollars out of people. I can't even imagine how much money they make on small sales every year.

Why should the Touch have those apps, though? It's a damn iPod. At this point, the Touch is an iPhone that can't call and without a mobile contract. I'd say that's pretty damn good.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
    • Same place "Unreal III" is, in everyone's thoughts!
    • So how much water is used in that "initial charge" and how often will it need to be recharged?
