Kristen Bell might not only have more antiheroic days ahead of her (as reported last week in Ask Ausiello), but there might also be a bit of a turnaround for her Elle-raiser. While she notes that "nobody really knows anything at this point" as to the NBC series' game plan for Season 3, she says, "I?ve had an unbelievable experience thus far and they seem to like me and want to keep me onboard, so we?re going to keep that ball rolling for as long as we can. I think we fell in love. Just try and separate us!"

Bell is busy for the next 12 weeks on a shoot that will take her to Rome and New York City, but when she comes back "is when [Heroes] will be getting things together to start shooting. So I?ll be free."

Though Heroes' focus when it returns will be on big baddies, Bell's Elle could surprise fans. "She is so evil and so broken, yet she actually redeems herself over the next couple of episodes," the actress teases

Japanese actress Eriko Tamura, who played the 16th-century love interest of Hiro (Masi Oka) on NBC's Heroes last season, offered SCI FI Wire a few spoilers about what's next for her character as the show readies itself for a third season.

Tamura said that her character, Taeko, was supposed to be transported to the present in episodes that were scripted but not finished before the writers' strike commenced last fall. "I am going to be in the present, yes," Tamura said in an interview.

"I actually had a few episodes of the script then," Tamura said, adding: "Suddenly, the strike happened, so we had to stop the shooting."

Tamura added that she expects to return to the show for the upcoming third season, which begins production in May.

"We are not to that point where they think about the storylines yet ... because of the strike," Tamura said.

Taeko appeared last season in episodes in which Hiro, transported to medieval Japan, falls in love with her as he pursues a mission to save Japan. Heroes returns in the fall.

Adrian Pasdar who plays Nathan Patrelli on Heroes, has confirmed he will be returning for Volume 3 of Hereos.

He confirmed that Nathan and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) will work together to save Mama Patrelli from the dark side and that he will share several scenes with Claire (Hayden Panettiere) with him developing his character more as a father.

Additionally Pasdar offered up some potential reasons on how Nathan could've survived the shooting at the end of Volume 2 because...

1) Bullet-Proof Vest

2) Knew the attack was coming

3) He set it up himself

Source

Bullet-proof vest? No.

Knew the attack was coming? Possibly, but that wouldn't explain him surviving.

Set it up himself? That's an interesting theory, but he genuinely wants to reveal his ability, so I don't see that being the case.

I am just annoyed in a way he is returning because why can't anyone stay dead haha...I mean next week Nikki will be back :p

They already said Nikki was going to be back. Just that 'Nikki' would be dead and one of the other personalities would be completely in control.

Knew the attack was coming? Possibly, but that wouldn't explain him surviving.

It would if the bullets were blanks.

I must say that with the fact that no one seems to be dying, it is starting to ruin things. Part of the power of the show is the constant danger which included the fact that people could die. But no, sorry, everyone is still with us. Nathan isn't bringing anything new to the show anymore. He was basically worthless last season other than being the guy that showed that adam and peter's blood could heal.

It would if the bullets were blanks.

But then everyone there would be asking how is it that he's unharmed at all, why the drama at the end, etc. Wasn't there blood? I was going to check it out one NBC's website but only first five episodes are available.

maybe since he has adams blood in him, he can heal better than a normal person?

so a near death come back?

I'm with you on that one. That Adam's blood gave him healing power just like the cheerleader's dad.
