Fringe - Season One

Recommended Posts

I liked tonight's episode. Pretty good show, just hope it doesn't get canceled .... seems like shows don't last long anymore :(

Doubt it, it has a full season order and the chances of renewal are very strong

@mathachew wow didn't notice that! good catch! (Y)

Just watched the recent episode!... Simply amazing.

did you notice this:

Intrepus.jpg

The crawl at the bottom of Daniel Chin's news report, reads "Elevator crashes in downtown Worchester office building... state safety officials are investigating". However, that is just a distraction from the clue to the next episode, which is on the coffee mug to the right, which reads INtREPUS.

The massive Dynamic logo can be seen on an "Unlock Your Hidden Potential" poster, at Dr. Fischer's clinic. Could Dr. Fischer be working for Massive Dynamic?

Observer105.jpg

Our old friend, The Observer, can been seen getting off the elevator, just before Joseph Meegar drives it into the basement. How does he always know what is going to happen?

The clue from last week's episode was the flyer on the telephone pole. It made two appearances in Power Hungry: In Joseph's locker, and in the secret John Scott file for Dr. Fischer.

Also I decided to try typing this in the address bar.. and lookie what I found: http://www.massivedynamic.com/ :o

Whoa! Great find Jase. I too noticed the observer as he came out of the elevator. It's kinda odd that we didn't see him after that. Also, did anyone notice the odd flashing lights? Last time, I saw the blue lights on the corners of my TV screen. This time, I saw them in the middle of my screen (top-middle to be exact).

I noticed the Observer right off the bat, and actually had to rewind a bit to see if my eyes were fooling me or not.

That also makes me wonder... [i'd go back and check myself, but I don't have the episodes anymore] Does he show up in previous episodes? Before we 'met' him? I mean, we probably just noticed him there because we know about him now... I wouldn't be surprised if he was around in previous eps too.

Anyone else think that this show is really crappy?

I really wanted this to be good, but the acting is pretty bad, and so far the storyline and script is rubbish.

You are probably in a minority here 90% of the people here love it.

I was hoping that the actors would get into their characters would develop a bit more, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

I definitely think it could use some improving, particularly on the overall plot. It's supposed to be about "The Pattern", but you don't really get why "The Pattern" is important or anything like that and it seems like a weak attempt to tie everything together which I'm not sure I get since it's all experiments done by people, who are possibly all related somehow, particularly to Bishop's work I guess. I felt some episodes like the one with the burrowing torpedo were somewhat lacking (although the bald man is one of my favorite characters now along with Walter Bishop). Hopefully they'll be able to make "The Pattern" something more interesting.

That being said, I'll probably watch this until it ends.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.

    • hahahahah wow hahahah you sure got me there hahahahahah, you know that bad performance is always due to poor optimization by the developers, right???
    • "I know for a fact I'll never own one of these." This is why choice is better than government regulation. Globaly Android has something like 72% of the smartphone market. Granted the vast majority of that is low end phones. Apple can and should charge whatever they want. The market will decide if it is too much.
