I literally can't believe it! I mean, I've been purposefully pessimistic about the Giants all season, so as not to get my hopes up too much. Like I was saying at the 19 second mark, with the Patriots' last push: "If anyone could give up a 19 second upset loss, it would be the Giants." Then at that last second mark, when the Giants had the ball back and everyone was debating if they were going to do that one last play, I was saying "If anyone could give up a 1 second loss, it would be the Giants." But my God, I couldn't be happier right now! All I wanted was to see the Giants win a superbowl in my lifetime (minus the last one where I was too young to remember, and the one just before I was born).

Giants fan for life; no matter how badly they suck in the coming years ^^. Then again, they have undoubtedly the best set of players that they've either ever had, or at least the best since the Phil Simms years of old. However, I do have to say that Eli getting the MVP trophy is bullocks. *Somebody* on the defense deserved it far more. This victory was all on the defense.

And one last thing, I hate Bill Belichick. Hate him. What a punk leaving the field before the game was officially won. That was a true punk move.

Technically speaking, the game wasn't over with 1 second remaining. However, he had already done his chit chat with Coughlin, yadda yadda. What's the point of getting off the field, let them kneel, and then run back to do it again...?

Respect. Thats the point. I know he went up to Coughlin, but show respect to the rest of the team as well. Let the game officially end, instead of walking off before it. He walked off the field completely towards the locker room, that is what bothered me. I am not saying he had to do the whole thing with Coughlin again, but do not walk back to the locker room until it is officially over, which it was not as I, and you, also pointed out. At least show the respect to the game.

Then his whole interview afterwards were he could not even give the Giants any credit, just shows what he is all about. I have always disliked him, and those two things just backed up my dislike for him.

Bundchen: 'If the Pats Lose, I'll Run Naked Through Mid-Town Manhattan'

Hahahaha. She better live up to her promise.

Mmm, satire.

"To be perfectly honest, she's been a distraction the moment we saw pics of her on the beach with T.B. in the offseason," said linebacker Mike Vrabel. "Those legs, that butt, those lips. Thankfully we've got football to release the sexual tension. Bringing an erection onto the field is never a good idea, particularly for a linebacker who relies on lateral pursuit to be effective."

"Never in a million years did I think I'd have a problem motivating a team heading into the Super Bowl," said Patriots coach Bill Belichick. "Gisele opens her big mouth and look at 'em -- half the guys are staring into space, the others are leering like they've just stumbled onto their uncle's private porn stash. And who can blame them -- that's one fine specimen. But this is a completely new wrinkle ... though wrinkle is probably the wrong word, as I've seen Gisele in a thong, and trust me, that butt's tighter than a fine-tuned snare drum."

+1

His little show of "I can leave when I want because I'm Bill Belicheck" just shows everyone that he's a sore loser, really does think he runs everything, and that he's a prick. Notice no show talked about it though, weird.

I can't believe ESPN right now; talking about the Patriots one loss of the season like it means they're the worst team ever. Yes, thats an exaggeration, but the tone is all emo and dark, and they keep using words like "imperfect" and "shame". Yes, it is a huge loss and a major upset for a team looking to go for a lossless season (though far from perfect, I would say); but really... the Patriots have still had a dynasty here, and they're still a damn good team to say the least.

They were always going to look at it that way though. I heard Terry, Howie and the gang talking about it a couple weeks ago and when asked what one of them would think if the Pats went undefeated to the Super Bowl and lost, he just said that he'd say it was another team that made it far but couldn't finish the job.

I also agree with what has been said about the Pats coach. That was an amazing lack of respect at the end. Although to his credit, he may have actually thought the game was over - I mean, everyone else seemed to think so.

But great game. I couldn't believe Eli got out of that sack and made a 40 yard completion (from where he threw it, not from the line of scrimmage).

I've said over and over that Tom Brady is overrated and I think this game proved it. He did decent, but he got steamrolled by the Giant's D and couldn't get into a groove. I think it goes to show that while he is a really good QB, he's not on a pedestal of his own above every other QB out there like everyone's been saying all season.

I'm glad the Giants won, but I will say I wouldn't have minded seeing a team go completely undefeated either. It's not like that happens every day...

Ehhh I think you're giving him too little credit. The Giant's D did great, and his front line failed to protect him, which affected his ability to pass the ball. It was his worst game this year, too bad it was at the most important game of the year. It's like Archie Manning. Lots of people talk about how great of a quarterback he was while playing with some of the worst players in the league.

Above every QB, thus making him the best? Absolutely not. Among the best that ever played? Definitely. Today's society is far too quick to toss out extreme labels on anything. Examples are:

1) Commentators saying Peyton Manning is probably the best QB to have ever played, but the numbers don't support that at all.

2) "Candidate X Slams Candidate Y over Topic A" when it's more of a "I think they're wrong" type of comment.

3) Last but not least, something you see everyday on this forum: epic fail

Look how quickly some of the talk has gone from, "Brady is probably the best ever" to "Brady is terrible." He's not a terrible quaterback, he had a bad game and the offensive line's p**s poor blocking was a huge contribution to that, to the full credit of the Giants D.

That was pretty much my entire point. I even said that he's a really good QB, but the point is, he's just a normal really good QB and the Pat's are just a normal really good team. Neither Tom nor the team are any better or worse than the many other really good teams that have played in the past, but you wouldn't know it had you listened to any commentating during the season where either Tom or the Pats came up in discussion.

I definitely have to agree that Belichick showed a real lack of sportsmanship there by walking out on the game. I wouldn't have minded that all that much it weren't for his show of arrogance before the game as well. He really didn't deserve a win, in my mind.

    • RevPDF 4.5.0 by Razvan Serea RevPDF is a free, fully offline PDF editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you edit text and images directly inside PDF files — no internet connection, no account, and no cloud uploads required. Unlike bloated alternatives that demand subscriptions and constant connectivity, RevPDF fits in under 60MB on desktop while delivering a complete editing toolkit: annotate, redact, sign, compress, split, merge, convert, and reorganize pages, all processed locally on your device. Smart font matching ensures edited text blends seamlessly with the original, and multi-language support includes RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Where most PDF editors force you to choose between features and simplicity, RevPDF manages both. You can build interactive forms from scratch with text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, permanently redact sensitive data before sharing, draw freehand on contracts and diagrams, and add custom watermarks — all without a single file leaving your machine. Edit Text and Images Directly Inside PDFs RevPDF supports true inline PDF editing — not just annotation layers on top of a document, but actual modification of existing text and images within the file. A smart font-matching engine identifies the font used in the original document and applies it automatically when you make edits, so changes blend naturally with the surrounding content. You can reposition elements, resize images, and update text across single pages or entire documents. RevPDF 4.5.0 release notes: This is one of the biggest updates to RevPDF yet. A lot of things people have been asking for are finally here. New Features Auto Redaction Permanently redact sensitive text and areas from your PDFs before sharing.
